I had high expectations when I chose Asura Hosting, but sadly, their support service has been extremely poor. After raising a support ticket, they sent a generic reply saying the issue was forwarded to the concerned department. However, after that, there has been complete silence — no updates, no resolution, nothing.
Repeated follow-ups were ignored, and it seems they have no proper system to actually solve customer issues. A hosting provider's most important duty is to provide reliable support, and Asura Hosting has completely failed in this regard.
I strongly advise others to think carefully before choosing Asura Hosting. Good hosting is not just about uptime or features — reliable and responsive support is equally important. Unfortunately, Asura Hosting does not meet that standard.
Very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

Asura Hosting
signed up to Asura Hosting for a shared service a couple of weeks ago and paid a full year in advance.
The site was constantly going offline and when it was online, it would take between 2-3 minutes to load an empty website.
I asked them to look into this but they always told me that they were optimising this, optimising that etc which was total bull.
‘Asura Hosting, is a malicious website, sold my information, this website is not trustworthy.

Hello Teresinho,
I could not find any prior tickets/responses that were made under your customer account. I did ask a technician to get in contact with you directly via ticket to find out more about your issue - please do have a look, we do want to help out!

The most useless hosting company
Just pray your site doesn’t have issues.
Support takes years to respond and if they’re going to, they just reply anyhow.
Don’t even want to put much effort in helping customers, just minimal help and that’s stupid.
The hosting is okay but support is the most useless.
The customer service named Mike is one the the most useless person. Never cared to go through the complaints and just do a mediocre job.
If you send multiple messages, it will take hours and they will only reply the last message and ignore others.
If you list all complaints in one message, they will attend to one or reply one.
The most useless customer service.
Don’t worry, after I’ve moved out from your nonsense hosting, I’m going to write a blog review regarding your useless hosting service. This review is not enough.
You guys messed with the wrong person.
Let me come out from this crisis you will see.
My site has been down for 2 days now and you guys don’t care in helping me back online, my site ranks well on Google, and I have traffic.
Since 2 days no inquiries to my products.
Bloggers who linked to me had to reach out to me to ask why my site is down all because of unserious stupid people who call themselves hosting coming and customer support.
Right now some of links from other site are at risk of being removed because of this useless company who don’t care about taking up their responsibilities.

Hello Elvis,
I do see a technician has rectified your issue via ticket a couple days back now. I do want to clarify this was not an issue with the hosting account or service, this was due to how you migrated the site over. We did eventually migrate it for you manually, which was the best course of action to get this resolved especially since you were changing domain names as well in the process.
We did also ask for further confirmation via ticket.

This was yet another terrible experience.
This was yet another terrible experience.
The servers and support provided were of poor quality. Many of the claims made on their website are misleading or false.
Furthermore, their panels are so weak that my sites have been down for the last 3 days. Their response suggests that the issue is not urgent. I am so disappointed with their service. I had planned to purchase a reseller plan from them.
They say:
* Support Average Response Time: 27 Minutes (which is a lie)
*We optimize our servers to the highest level, utilizing Litespeed, solid-state drives, and Intel Xeon processors. (On their C3 server, they are using 2 Ryzen 5600 16-core CPUs, 128GB of RAM, and around 8TB of storage. However, they are fully utilizing most of the available resources.
* 10 Gbps Port (That's it. They say 10 gbps but in the many locations around the world, the bandwidth is maximum Gbps in Europe and timeouts in other places in the world. Furthermore, the bandwidths are fluctuating, so.
* The majority of the Cpanel features aren't functioning properly. (Database issues, Jetback doesn't take backup regularly, terminal doesn't work, ssh doesn't work.)
But I'm so disappointed that they don't reply with a solution. They don't have urgency.

Hello MD MAZBABUR,
I do see a technician has clarified some of your points via ticket and also fixed your issue earlier in the month with regards to your Cloudflare config causing the website to not respond.
Our support average time is usually around ~20 minutes, this only applies to Technical Support. Billing/Sales works 12/7. There are cases where a technical support ticket can get escalated to senior staff members, in those cases there can be added delay.
Bandwidth speed will depend on how far you are from the node, that is just how network connectivity works; the higher your latency to the node the worse connection throughput you're going to get. Using FTP/SFTP is usually best to get the most out of your connection.
I could not see any reports of SSH not working as well, we do keep SSH on a custom port so that might of been why you could not connect initially if you are using the default 22 SSH port.
Please do feel free to contact us through our helpdesk if you need further help!

AN
A new way to build a B.
Be careful of the rating because service may disappoint you.
I moved my two domains two month ago from another hosting company because of these reviews I saw here. I finished building first website on the 14 of November 2024 because my first hosting company made transferring the domains very frustrating it took a months to do something that should take 4 to 24 hours. When i build the second website on 21 November 2024 things fall apart at assura hosting. I installed wordpress. Did updates and add the theme and plugins I like. Then on the 22 November 2024 I open the admin dashboard for wordpress to start building the pages. That when i started getting 403 error. After googling it i decided to delete installation the wordpress installation so that i can do reinstallation. After i have reinstalled i go in and start building again with success. I log out and I tried login again. I again encountered 403 error which does not allow me to access wordpress dashboard. I then try login on the first website wordpress I have build before. I got the same thing again. I log a ticket. Mike answered that I had a .htaccess file: that was caused by wordpress not being updated for a long time. This was strage cause i just installed lated wordpress version 6.7.1 as recommended. Nevertheless he assured me that its been removed and therefore i should not have a problem. Then I replied that i still could not login becuase of 403 error. This what he said. Hello BLACK,
I cannot find any from that date.
I could perhaps try resetting the accounts completely, but that will reset the data entirely.
Another option would be to replace the core files directly again for both sites, but I would recommend you do this so you can access the site afterwards and update everything immediately:
What you can do is delete all your core WP files/folders, like wp-admin, wp-includes, etc but do not delete wp-content and wp-config.php as those ones you cannot replace.
Basically the only 2 files/folders you keep is wp-content and wp-config.php, delete everything else.
Once deleted, get Wordpress's latest installation files here:
Once downloaded, upload them to your hosting account where you deleted the wordpress sites files and replace them with those ones.
You have to do this for every site that is infected basically. And you have to make sure that folder you left behind (wp-content) does not contain malware. I would also suggest installing Wordfence as well to monitor things. This deleting of files was beyond my technical capabilty and i told Mike this. Then he said he was running scanning because malware was generating. Then today on 26 November I get this response. Hello BLACK,
I have tried clearing this out with cPGuard but the issue persists.
Only other option would be to terminate the account and restore only the home directory with JetBackup, then I can clear that out which should remove everything.
I just need confirmation.
Do let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

At this stage I feel support from Asura has been worse. I had already mentioned to them that I was feeling frustrated by their experience. Rating are high here but the support service was terrible for me. Please dont be fooled by these ratings like me. You will regret using Asura Hosting.

I Used to Like This Provider, but Their Service Is Going Downhill
I tried their web hosting service because of their reviews on Trustpilot. I used to like this provider, but over time, their support has declined to below average. Initially, it was decent, but I wasn’t pleased with how Mike addressed me in one of my tickets—it came across as somewhat rude, and their responses are quite slow (it took 9 hours to "more than a day" to respond to just one ticket). I have been patient with them for a time, even though they reply very slowly, and I subscribed to many of their services—hosting, VPS, domains—but I just feel frustrated with what they have become.
There have been more frequent on-and-off downtimes recently. My site on a VPS was running okay (even with occasional downtime) until one day, it suddenly became completely inaccessible—even the control panel. When I reached out to support, they refused to help, saying it was my responsibility to manage it because it’s a VPS. I couldn't access the site files at all; even the “emergency console” on their client dashboard just displayed “server busy.” Rebooting and SSH access weren’t possible either. I followed up on the ticket multiple times, and until now, I’ve received no assistance. My site has been down for almost a full day and counting, causing a significant loss of income.
I requested a backup since I paid for an additional backup service, but they still haven’t provided it. So, essentially, all my site data that I worked hard for years is now gone! And it took ages for them to even respond!
To make matters worse, they keep delaying responses with auto-generated messages. Time is precious, and every delay is a loss for our business! I don’t even know if I can recover my files and data. They don’t seem to care that my site is down, likely because it doesn’t impact their own business. This situation has not only impacted my income but also hurt my site’s SEO. Their previous support was fine, but now it has gotten much worse; it feels like the staff may be tired of their customer support roles.
At this point, I am looking for a new hosting provider—ideally, one that is well-known for fast, reliable support and data security. Even if it’s more expensive, at least I can have confidence that my business will be safer. I was a happy customer initially, but it seems they’re struggling to maintain that standard.

Hello Ejay,
Please do forward through your details or the ticket ID (I have requested your information via TrustPilot)
It is not our intention at all to brush off your request with your VPS. Sometimes we will ask for the details to login to the VM to help out as with VPS's we don't have any direct access that has to be provided by the user.
I am sure we can help you out in this case, would just require the details.

You pay what you get
You pay what you get. Seems that Asura is just like that.
It seems to good to be true, and it is. The servers are very slow. All WordPress websites we moved to Asura are so slow in the back-end.
If you tell that to support, you always get an answer like: "Everything appears to be functioning smoothly from our end, and our team continues to monitor the server closely, taking necessary actions as required. Therefore, we can confirm that the server is operating normally and no issues are detected on our end."
They probably just have to many users on the server, and a website loading in 8 seconds is normal here I think.
There is also a lot of downtime. I'm only a customer for like 2 weeks, but there is downtime almost every day. It is just bad.
Don't even get me started on all the DATA they have LOST. Their answer is that it is the fault of DirectAdmin's back-up system or something like that. That is just BS.
We had user back-ups in the user_backups directory. We we're working on restoring the back-ups. The next day? All the back-ups in the directory we're deleted.
Why and how? No idea. We didn't had this problem with other hosters.
Asura Hosting is very bad. Support is okay, but quality of the servers is absolutely horrible.
UPDATE OUTAGE 09/10/24
Everything is still offline. Everything is offline for more then 5 hours. No communication to clients. All my websites are offlline and I already lost 5 customers since this is the second outage within 3 days.
UPDATE 16/10/24
Can you guess it? Our server is down once again. What a joke....
UPDATE 23/10/24
cPanel server down again.... All sites unavailable
UPDATE 24/10/24
MySQL server down... All DirectAdmin sites unavailable

Hello,
I see this was updated recently, we have no reported incidents - please open a ticket if you're running into an issue so we can have a further look at it for you, your IP could possibly be blocked.
With regards to your backups, those do get cleared if they are left in the account. You need to either store these off-site or locally. We do also already take backups via JetBackup, those are stored remotely. I do see that this was clarified via ticket already a while back.
But please do open a ticket so we can have a further look into this for you.
