About AstroVPN

Veilock (formerly AstroVPN) was originally founded in 2016 by a group of IT-savvy students passionate about creating VPN solutions that could bypass Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) and restrictive firewall systems. What began as a small-scale beta with 130+ users, mostly students, quickly grew into a global collaboration focused on privacy, security, and freedom online.Over the years, Veilock experimented with advanced privacy features, including built-in ad and malware blocking to further enhance the user experience. While the mission was clear, limited resources and scaling challenges made it difficult to keep pace with the growing demands of a secure and reliable VPN service. In March 2025, Veilock was acquired by Nubinity, LLC — a trusted leader in managed IT services and connectivity infrastructure. With this acquisition, Nubinity brings the operational maturity, infrastructure scale, and 24/7 support needed to elevate Veilock into a modern, reliable, and privacy-first VPN solution. We are fully committed to honoring the original vision of Veilock while improving every aspect of the service — from performance and platform stability to user support and security. The future of Veilock under Nubinity is not just about continuing the legacy — it’s about building a VPN that sets a new industry standard.

Best vpn. What more can you ask for?
Been using for a few weeks, very reliable vpn. Multiple locations. No bs throttling. Crazy speeds. No ads/malware blocker. Encrypted packets. What more can you ask for? Also, support is god. Riley is on it all the time. +1

Good VPN for the price! They value my privacy and have great pricing.
Before I found this VPN, I was using things like NordVPN, ProtonVPN, iVPN, etc... But when I found this VPN, I loved it. I loved the speeds, no-log policy, and much more! The pricing is great and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

So far, Astrovpn has amazed me. The speed of the connection, the user friendly interface, and their great community, all these factors, for me, deserve the 5 stars I'm giving. Plus is really easy to use

One of the best VPN services out there.
One of the best VPN services out there. Having previously used AstroVPN I can say that is by far one of the best VPN companies out there. The people behind the company are very receptive to feedback and concerns, a luxury which I have not yet experienced elsewhere. While I no longer hold a subscription with them currently, it is something I am excited to get in the near future. ^ Akash
