I cancelled the service after using it one time and they continue to try and charge my credit card. I have had my credit card cancelled and reissued twice because of this company.

Apparently, the people at Askanexpertonline are busy onstantly writing fake interviews. I agreed to pay $5 to find out something. I didn't get an answer. I decided to let it go. Now I see a charge for $48 on my credit card bill for a MEMBERSHIP which I didn't authorize. The chat "person" said they would cancel my membership. Not enough! I want my $48 back. They don't respond to that. SCAM!!!!! Now I am being asked for more information. There’s nothing else to say. I have described what happened very clearly.

everything went wrong. The "expert" wanted to connect with a tech expert and then wanted me to give a 1.00 charge that would be refunded. I tried 5 times to do this, gave up, only to find out they had charged my card 5 times, each time $100! I have tried to resolve this to get a refund, but the "expert AI" always tries to get me to give more money to speak to someone???? It just happened, they tried to rip me off again! Every time they say they were going to give me to tech support, I can’t say anything or leave a comment, just want you to pay. RIPOFF!

I called NB Power on December 8 to ask a bout their bill. Somehow, I was connected to Ask an Expert, and had to "join" with a "fully refundable" account. The "Expert could not help, other than saying to call NB Power! This was no help, and I expected a "Full refund." Instead, I just received my Scotiabank statement showing a $7.15 and a $57.26 charge from Ask an Expert. I have tried to reach someone to talk with and was informed I had to pay $%, "fully refundable", to get them to call me. I don't trust you, but want to talk with a live person to dispute the charges. noticed a charge for $69 on my credit card. did not join this company. I started the chat to try and resolve this and they tell me that I belong and have to fill in my credit card info again but - here's the sticker - enter a password. I don't have a password! So stuck in a Catch-22 loop! What's going on??

You lied about cost. I was told a $5 fee and then was charged $70. Outrageous. This has NOTHING to do with the expert. He was very nice. But this was a bait and switch by Tech Bro sociopaths who should be in prison for fraud

I was trying to get advice on how to reset a lock and the next thing I knew I was being charged $48 a month. They are unresponsive to my phone calls and emails. DO NOT engage with this company, it's a scam.

If I could leave ZERO Stars I would do it. I had a question about TV service and AskAnExpertOnline popped up. I suppose I committed the $5 fee, no idea I was obligating a further TWO YEAR CONTRACT for $48/mo!!! I got ZERO help from them. When the $48 fee hit my bank this morning I call AskAnExpertOnline and was given a horendous runaround on cancelling. Short of it was, IF I PAID A FURTHER $99 THEY WOULD CANCEL MY CONTRACT. On speaking with the Fraud Dept at Chase Bank this morning, AskAnExpertOnline is a "RECOGNIZED BAD ACTOR". I have blocked any further charges with the bank, and will dispute the $48 charge.
