My Chat with customer service ,I was told it's $2 to speak with a doctor,
my bank account was charged $2 and another $66 . That is fraud! Very misleading website . Please refund my money!

Website said $2 charge. I checked my bank account afterwards, there was two payments deducted one for $2, the other for $70. Very misleading website.

Just your average bait and switch, I guess.
Hard to trust a service that sends a message about a "one-time $2 payment" in the start-up chat, only to try and charge $68 when I go through the check-out window. I can't even say anything about whether or not the service provided is actually worth that money because I immediately backed out after spotting that.

Being charged for advice I never received
3 months ago, in November 2024 I was searching for answers about covid treatment. I did not realise I had signed up for ongoing deductions from my bank account and I never received any advice from Askadoctor. I got advice an emergency service. Today I discovered I was being charged $66 a month for a service I never received.

I have been asking for 2 months to cancel my membership and refund the charges. What do they do? They ask me to pay the refundable $2 charge to speak to a doctor. I do not want to ask a doctor a medical question, I want my membership cancelled and money refunded

Thought this was legitimate because this was at top of google search, don't pay the $2 fee, when you do they will take more and keep your details , I had another payment stolen from my account a month later, had to cancel my credit card, Please don't make same mistake I made, total scam.

I was in distress when I contacted you and did not know I wasn’t going to get a prescription. I am elderly and I feel that it was very unfair that I was left hanging without solving my issue. I am on Medicare and was and still am waiting to get into my doctor as I changed plans this new year. I had to pay $46.00 for you to just tell me I need an antibiotic. I know what I needed, but had no idea this would only be advise. This is very unfair to be charged $46.00 just for this advise. The issue was not solved and I was still in pain and discomfort. I paid you through PayPal because I did not have the funds. So I used credit through PayPal and received no results. I’m asking for a refund since my issue was not solved. Thank you kindly!!

You have been charged a monthly membership fee of $46 at the time you posted your first question. This was displayed on the same page you entered your billing information, just before you posted your question and accepted our terms of service.
In addition, I can confirm that the membership was turned off on Jan. 14, 2025. Moving forward, you will not see any recurring membership charges, and process the refund for the $46.
