"We need a $5 temporary Charge... Que $43 attempt.
It was smooth up until being asked for a preliminary, and "fully refundable" $5 charge before being connected to a doctor. "That's reasonable" I thought, and entered my payment information. BOOM, $43 attempted change. Luckily, I always ensure I have a limit set for new transactions, and it declined. Thank goodness for this. I'm not sure how they have such high ratings when I was lied to within the first few minutes. Never again.

Impossible to cease ongoing monthly deductions- $63.91
I am Australian and was holidaying in Japan in January 2025 when I became very unwell. I contacted askadoctor.help for advice. I can’t recall providing my bank details or registering my details but clearly must have. I have had ongoing monthly deductions from my bank account of $63.91 monthly. I tried contacting via their chat bot for ask for a refund and to cease these payments being deducted, however was advised to provide my credit card details to speak with someone. ABSOLUTELY NOT. My bank can’t cease these payments from being deducted as I can’t provide sufficient information to them in relation to communication. I WOULD APPRECIATE SOMEONE CONTACTING ME TO DISCUSS THIS FURTHER. I AM SO UNHAPPY WITH THE INABILITY TO HAVE THIS REMEDIED EASILY

Don't seek help here
I have seldom had a more frustrating experience. The advice I received was unhelpful and from the chat thread I was led to believe there would be a one time $5.00 fee. I was actually charged $46.00 only to find out that was the first months charge for a monthly membership. I cannot recommend this service to anyone.

My credit card was debited $68 AUD and the assistant said it would be $2, so I have disputed the transaction.

Scam! Charged $72 for no service. Company not responding to requests for "invoice " or refund. Tread very carefully.
