I work alone and had a two seat plan. Then, suddenly in October I was charged for a 5 seat plan which cost $90 more. I tried multiple times to reach out to rectify the situation. Their live chat never seems to work, no one responds to email, and there is no phone number. I don't need to pay $156/month to manage my to-do list and to be subjected to this kind of horrible service.

Money grabbing company. They let you pay for basic security features, they let you pay corporate branding, they wont give you full admin access on your data. When you ask for help, asana supporters wont have a solution as most issues ain't a bug. It's a feature they want you to pay for. Worst vendor lock in ever.

The worst service ever. Kept dodging important billing and plan questions. Doesn't seem to care about customers AT ALL(no direct answers / kept changing reps and still no answers / very slow replies / they will sound like wanting to help, but actually won't give you any useful information). Very hard to find the cancellation are once upgraded to certain plan. Also, the billing seems very simple at first, but will become nightmare if you upgrade to a certain plan. Found out about that after 6 years of using Asana. Shocking.. and losing trust rapidly. Start having concern putting our data on their platform. And, no backup codes for 2FA...

Don't! You won't get anything but trouble. I payed (by mistake) for one year, but the app just ask me for payment again and again - and I never got access 😡

BUYER BEWARE! They sound nice and kind on their website, but are yet another corporate devil in disguise. All they care about is cash today to pay their investors. Not interested in the long term. As others have mentioned, Asana's customer support and sales practices are shady, misleading, and in very poor taste. I faithfully used the app for 5+ years and had various levels of subscription. I was an enterprise level subscriber and they only sell licenses in bundles of 5 and there is no way to downgrade during your annual subscription. Further, you can't cancel online or stop your subscription from renewing online. If you are even a day late to ask for a downgrade OR cancelation, forget about it. They are completely inflexible. Well, they just lost a long term, paying customer. I'll vote with my dollars and move on. Too bad as their tool has some real potential. Use one of the other many apps that work almost exactly the same.

They absolutely spam you with garbage email, nonstop. Every time I log in, as well as trying to sell me other garbage almost every day. Frequent problems with logging in and often had to content customer support because I was logged out. The actual app runs really slow and is a bit buggy. It's kind of just a cheap knockoff of Trello, but poorly made.

I think asana is an excellent team-level PPM tool. HOWEVER, their sales and service are really bad. I have been trying to get an enterprise sales lead to respond to me through multiple channels. But they are silent. If sales is not responsive, then you have to worry about the rest of the company.

Das Allerletzte. Wählt man den kostenlosen Plan, bekommt man keine Möglichkeit, sein Projekt einzusehen, da man nicht weiterkommt, wenn man nicht zahlt. Die Zahlungsaufforderung kann man nicht verlassen, oder die User Experience ist so grauenhaft, dass sie diese Funktion versteckt haben. Auch kann man die Seite nicht mobil nutzen, da es keinen Button gibt, der einen wie bei allen anderen Seiten die Möglichkeit gibt, die Seite mobil zu nutzen und nicht die App runterzuladen. Und zuletzt: Ich habe den Newsletter abbestellt, werde aber trotzdem noch täglich mit Werbung von ASANA zugespamt.
