Product is clunky and development road-map is a joke. Had issues from the beginning and support wasn't helpful either in resolving them. We spent years trying to make this work and hours and hours trying to make it operable. When it came time to cancel our plan they were unhelpful and showed their true colours that they are a company that wishes to lock people into agreements instead of offering a product that makes people want to remain clients.

Great software. But suuuper lazy development team. Recovering deleted tasks is a nightmare. Deleting tasks is a nightmare and not straightforward. And the worst part is, their rules, which is arguably their best tool, does not contain the simplest features such as: Unmark as approval, allowing custom date field to have a days until deadline, and countless others that I've simply given up with. Super frustrating.

I had a very bad experience deleting my account on Asana. you can deactivate but you need to go to make a long chat with a bot to guide you on how to manage the ticket to get into customer service to approve and to talk with you that you want to delete the account. On mobile, it is not a problem but, on mobile Asana it's not good either, prolonged, and not user-friendly. The application in the sense of organization work i ok.. but this dark pattern that they done is a really bad experience, It is disappointment.

The product itself is decent enough, but the overall experience was terrible. The pricing is intentionally confusing and opaque, and they overcharged me $60 out of the blue. - Website says the starter price is $10.99, but there is no option to get a single seat so the minimum you'll pay is twice that. - The starter plan says it includes unlimited guests so I had team members on the project (who weren't really using the tool, I only needed them on the plan as guests). The first two months I got charged the correct amount, third month I get charged over $100 because they automatically upgraded me to more seats. I didn't ask, approve, or need the upgrade. I contacted customer support and they refused to issue a refund even though I immediately removed the additional people from the list of project members. They site their terms of service which apparently gives them the right to auto-enroll you in a higher plan. - It was difficult to reach customer support since they don't have any live phone or chat service, only a useless and frustrating chatbot. If you're super diligent and don't run into any issues, you'll probably be fine since the product itself is useful (hence the two stars). But I don't like having a product from a company I don't trust that I feel can sneak up charges on me at any moment and then refuse to refund.

Good software, but the pricing is borderline misleading. It's advertised at $10 per seat, but in reality, you have to purchase seats in increments. Since we have six employees, we had to pay for ten seats, which is frustrating and leaves a bad taste, especially after spending a week on a free trial. In their community forums a lot of people complain but ASANA answer is bascially "screw you, take it or leave it". We've now purchased it for six people for one year (the lowest plan), and it cost us $1,437, which is $20 per month per person, not $10. If ASANA doesn't prove to be the absolute best software we've ever used with exceptional customer service, we will be switching.

I had an account with Asana Premium. I forget to cancel my subscription. I cancelled my account after I saw Asana got the payment. But they didn't refund me after I reached out the support.

I was so excited to add this to our suite as our key project management tool until I decided to move to a paid account. Literally once you pay, there's no support onwards. You constantly run into robots and if you send an email, you don't hear for 10 days, at least that's my case here.
