Artisan HardwareReviews of artisanhardware.com

Although the door is beautiful and the hardwood is top notch, I was very disappointed that the chalkboard itself seems to merely be chalkboard paint. It is not a high-quality chalkboard and doesn't wipe clean with water. In fact, the chalk imprints the board leaving permanent marks. I was also discouraged that the default height on the website is 6'. I didn't think to confirm this (my bad) so my door came 8" short for the frame. I wish there had been a caveat on the site that although 6' is the default height, it is not a standard door height.

1. I ordered 2 x Stay Roller Guide but I got just 1. 2. I ordered Pre-Hung door. Vintage top mount has not been attached straight because of that, door has been cracked.

The quality of most of the material was very good except for the following: I paid extra for Stainless Steel hardware and once it arrived I noticed the nuts provided were carbon steel & part of the handle was also carbon steel.

I absolutely loved my door! It is gorgeous! The only downfall was the it arrived with some cracks or stress fractures on one side of the door.

The barn door was sent to me with a gliding rail too broad to fit beneath the door wheel. The door wheel was made of wood, which was a surprise as I expected the hardware to be of metal composition. The door had gashes in it. The horizontal panel buckled. I articulated my complaints, w photos and was assured someone would contact me within 24 hours. This did not happen. I had to again seek out someone to hear my concerns, describe my concerns and send photos to yet another person. My concerns remain, at this moment, under review. I am hopeful that Artisan Hardware will appropriately address the situation.

I needed an additional floor guide for my barn door which I received but it came without the 2 screws needed to secure to the floor.

Shipped wrong door glides even though the correct ones were listed on the packing slip. Delayed installation a few days.

The door is okay but the delivery experience is not convenient, door was dropped off on the grass, 5 feet away from the door, had to drag it in myself. The delivery cost is not clear, UPS still keep asking me for delivery fee!
