Poor customer service: the delivery company that they contract with will demand that you receive the product within 3 days, on a weekday, during an all-day delivery window, and threaten you with charges if you cannot accommodate them. Artisan Hardware will then abdicate any responsibility for this, despite the fact that they have chosen the delivery company, and state that it is the customer's responsibility only to arrange delivery. Very poor and I would not order from this company again.

Price is worth the lead time but if you have time to spare I can get these doors built on a 5 week lead time for half the price. The finish is cheap for 1200$ per door.

Artisan announced a 40% off summer sale just a few days after I received by purchase. I called and asked them to honor the discount on my recent purchase just like most reputable businesses practice. They said no and that they did not want to be taken advantage of by their customers. Hmm. Sounds like they are the ones taking advantage of their customers. For this reason I will never purchase from them again

Terrible customer service, no sign of when my order would arrive. Takes way too long for receipt of item

I ordered a distressed wood barn door. When I hung it and tried to roll it closed the bolts holding the rollers gouged a huge gash in the drywall. The bolts were an inch and a half longer than they need to be. I went to the store and got the correct length to fix the problem. Once it was rolling and closing correctly I thought I had hung it crooked. When I got out the level to double check my railing I found the the door is almost an inch out of square. It is a large door but I assumed they would have at least been able to make square. Very upset that I wasted $2500. with these guys!

They said it would take three weeks. It has been 6 weeks and still no door. The fact that they have even asked me to rate their service when they have't even delivered the product suggests more than one dropped ball...

As a contractor we order a lot of materials. I was really disappointed with Artisan Hardware! I order the door on September 17 and it didn’t arrive until the beginning of November. Their website says 2-3 weeks for Doors... I also ordered the door to be primed white, off their website but I received a natural wood unprimed door which now will add more to the cost to paint it. Almost $800 for the door and put my job behind schedule and over budget... I will have to take my future busy somewhere else
