Amazing piece of kit. Nice set of sounds to noodle with standalone and great as a MIDI controller. Got it on Kickstarter and haven't looked back. Get one!

Honestly great product for the price range. For the price you pay you get really decent functions and a lot of fun ahead! It took a really long time to get to my house since i bought it early on kickstarter and i don't live in the US. But since then i am really happy by the product, and my daughter too :)

The product is great, supporting software seems solid. The only things missing, and they're significant enough to cost a star, is instruction beyond the function, and a bit more engineering. There is no discussion of technique, applying written music to the device, or even how to effectively use the multitrack system. The multitracking is underdeveloped, kind of a "hit it now or fail" system that gives too little feedback. It's begging for a post-performance editor, of which there is none. Still, I'd recommend the product.

The Artiphon Orba was a gift for my son who loves to make music and loves new gadgets. He is thrilled with his Orba and was able to figure out its functions without watching videos. He found it very intuitive. We received his first video just a couple of days after receiving his gift. We just hope it doesn't distract him from work! I'm so happy to have contributed to Artiphon for the creation of Orba!

The Orba has become my idle-hands go-to toy, since I received it. It works great, considering all the things going on inside the little device. The wait was long, but the whole world was on hold so you can't blame them. I have a million suggestions, that I won't go into here, but my biggest complaint is the way the home key functions. It is very hard to use record, start-pause, tempo, and octave, without accidentally changing the patch. It takes me about 20 attempts before the octave function works, and I've never got the tempo to work. When looping, I always hit bad notes, which ruins the loop. (due to the home key mishaps.) I thought maybe it required more button practice on my part, but I can't find a consistent technique that works. Maybe turn off the function "home key changes patch" so you have to press home and the patch before it changes. I think that would clean up a lot of problems
