I think that my expectations were based on a version of articles of style that existed before the pandemic. I know a lot has changed in this business over the intervening years so I get that, but for the price point the service and products really don’t live up to their billing. I’ll have to keep looking for a clothier that meets the standard I’m looking for in a non-bespoke but higher end made to measure clothing experience.

I was really unhappy with the final fit and they were really poor about communication. I had to spend 100s on tailoring after I received it and they never offered to reimburse. Do not recommend.

We do reimburse any alteration costs, just send us a photo of the receipt from your local tailor and we will reimburse right away. If you are interested in getting more feedback on the fit of the final garment, you can upload a final fitting so we can take a look. AOS has always done quality work and I cant speak highly enough about their workmanship and materials and the overall sales experience. The lower score is strictly when it comes to order completion time (which has consistently been 4-6 months for me over several orders) and fulfillment. I had a tux shirt sent which never even showed up for my event(never showed up at all) and while the rest of my order (a tux) did show up it took nearly 6 months to do so which was right before said event leaving little time for alterations.

My apologies for the delivery time delays with your orders placed in 2020 and 2021. Covid had a serious impact on our timelines due to fabric shortages and staffing issues in our New York factory.
