Set up an annual maintenance/tune-up with ARS Austin. The technician said I needed a new blower motor and to clean the blower wheel of my furnace. Mind you this is the summer when we're not using the furnace and nothing was wrong with it. Just doing scheduled maintenance. He said it was either that or replaced the whole furnace. He said this absolutely must happen or it was dangerous not to. Then by the time he was giving me the quote he was telling me it was an option to do or not. He quoted over $2,000 for that work. Then they tried to send someone else out to give a quote on replacing the furnace. When I said I was not interested in that they still called me two other times trying to pressure me. I asked three times for photos of the dirty blower wheel and the amperage reading and never received anything. The technician just came across incredibly shady. Having talked to a friend in another state who owns an HVAC company he said that pricing was insane and if the unit was working fine last winter to not worry about it.

I have had nothing but problems from comfort heating and air. The day of installation they installed the wiring wrong and i couldn’t turn the unit off and the temp was 105. I ended up flipping the breaker and called them. Now I am finding out that not only did I have issues with wiring when they installed it but also the return plenum needs to match the dimensions of the filter rack. Which should have also been done right the day of installation. They placed a 4 inch blocker trying to make it work I guess. It’s causing to much pressure which is causing my unit to work harder. I came home tonight with another night with no A/C my thermostat won’t even turn on. The tech have been out here three times now. This is going to make the forth visit. When I called they told me they can be here tomorrow and that’s just not acceptable. I am tired of this run around and I wished I had never went with this company!!!

Would not recommend. Predatory behavior and took over a month to fix the problem we had. Didn’t actually get them to complete the job we had till I contacted corporate.

I had my ac replaced, they were real responsive and quick to call when trying to sell me an ac. The sales man told me to speak to the installer to have my return filters placed outside with the handler. He was asked by me multiple times if a new ac will fix the back of my house not cooling down. I set up my install appt and asked about the filter change location, she says oh no thats an additional $700+. First red flag. Then install day comes, they were real nice, I told them the fuse blows about 2x's a month for the outside unit. They get it installed & tell me the breaker fuse is replaced to a smaller one and problem should be solved. First night, fuse blows. 2nd night fuse blows, & the back of the house will not cool down & I assume cause the fuse keeps blowing. I call ARS the next morning. They are sending someone out that next night(Friday). Friday comes & I am rescheduled because they do not have a technician in my area, Saturday comes, rescheduled again to Monday. Monday tech comes and tells me I need all new duct work and thats why the back of the house won't cool down, He looks at something the installers plugged in and assumed that was draining the power causing the fuse to blow. He unplugs it and no more issues. Well I wanna speak to someone on the duct problem because I was guaranteed a new unit would fix the issue. The tech says his boss will reach out. Week goes by.. nothing. I called the next week & complained & they say okay yeah a manager will call you. by next week still no call. I call again & told again manager will call. No call, I call another company and they tell me all ducts need replaced. My husband now calls ARS. He gets me a call back that day. They are sending their duct guy out tomorrow (Friday). He says rehanging and some reworking and my ac should cool the back of house. he will get me a call by Monday. I call him Tuesday, he says someone will reach out. Wednesday he says yes calling you today. Its Wednesday night and still no call

If I could get them a zero, I would. From calling a few days after it was installed to tell them it was making a noise. Was told that that was normal and which I pointed out my other one never made that clinking sound. Then to find out when summer came when the AC kicks on if I’m using the stove, the air conditioner or anything in my house, the breaker blows. The AC unit is too big for my house they never calculated the load the house could take which they were supposed to do. When I told them of the issues and that their AC unit was too large, they told me that was my problem and to get electrician to come in. I replaced my whole electrical system. I pointed out that I would not have bought an AC unit that was too big for my house. If I had to do that considering I am disabled live on disability and have a severe heart issue.. I do not have money to pay for things extra things to make an AC unit that should’ve worked to work in the first place. So now I’m having to get other electricians to come in and give me letters stating the fact that the AC unit is too big for my house. On top of that, the AC unit decided to just stop working. This is the first summer that I’ve even had the unit . When I notice it stopped working, I went outside and the clunking noise that it was always making his now louder. It is 88° in my house which is extremely bad for someone with a heart condition. Plus, I have a flat nose dog that I’m worried is going to die. Even though the warranty is still valid on the unit they’re telling me they’re not sure what the parts will be covered by the warranty and I might have to pay for that which I have no money to do so. I have sent them letters, telling them how they breached their contract with putting a unit on too large, not giving me the load capacity for my house in writing as they were supposed to . Instead of chosen, not to answer any of my emails or phone calls. Also have the phone numbers on the sheet that they gave me for the AC when it was installed to call do not work and I’ve been disconnected and emails have been disconnected as well. The phone number at the top of the page underneath their company logo has been disconnected. So I have to get online to find out what the real phone number is to call them. This company is extremely shady. Do not get involved with them.

Only going by the call center! No one else. I made an appointment and then realized how expensive a repair is going to be. I called to cancel before the 24 notice ;the lady insisted that she reschedule me. I said no thank you but she did it anyway so when I got the confirmation for the reschedule I called back. The 2nd lady argued with me about canceling. What kind of crap is that? I hung up on her after 5 minutes of rudeness. That is not good customer service. Now I won’t use them for An AC replacement. If these are the type of people they hire for first impressions, what are their workers/ installers like?.

My wife made a scheduled a maitenance appointment for 8-12 and to this point of me writing this it is now 1pm and the guy still hasn't shown up. No eta no information on when and if this guy is gonna even show up. What is the point in making a 8-12 appointment and you don't even show up.

Un ańo y medio de uso y ya no enfría , Hablé para que lo vinieran a checar y es un cobro adicional me pregunto si solo reparan los que quitan para reemplazar con el nuevo y luego lo venden otra vez?? No encuentro una explicación lógica para que en un año y medio ya no funcione qué debo hacer??
