Technician did checkup fine. He noticed a cap was missing from a pipe and he would come back with one later. When he called I was not going to be home. He never called back to bring it at another time. It has been a month.

Absolute failure at every level but Tammy is AMAZING! Read my Update!!
UPDATE: Although my initial heat problem has been a nightmare to deal with and my house is 57 degrees since Monday....I FINALLY got to speak with Tammy (call center manager) who is an absolute ROCK STAR. She called and left me a message, I called right back. After speaking with her and letting her know of all the issues that I had she assured me that she'd be my point of contact and she's get this resolved for me. This morning, after speaking with her I am happy to announce that the tech will be on his way shortly with a new replacement unit. I haven't had heat since Sunday....and it's Thursday now, but thanks to Tammy and her amazing due diligence....it seems my issue will be resolved today! Virtual hugs to Tammy!!!!! I'm adding 2 more stars ONLY because of Tammy. If it weren't for her, I'd leave it at 1 star! She deserves a raise and a promotion!
I had my original heat pump system replaced with brand-new Rheem units by ARS Rescue Rooter in February 2025. The installation itself went smoothly, and initially I was satisfied with the work.
Unfortunately, the service experience since then has been unacceptable. On February 1, 2026, my primary heat pump failed—even though the system is less than a year old and under warranty. I scheduled a service appointment for that same evening between 6:00 and 9:00 PM. No technician arrived, and no one contacted me. I called multiple times throughout the evening and was repeatedly told I would receive a callback within 10–15 minutes. No call ever came.
Later, I was informed that my service request had been canceled by dispatch for “failure to confirm,” despite the booking department’s notes clearly showing that I confirmed the appointment at 5:56 PM. I was promised a call the following morning to reschedule, which never happened. I had to call again to secure another appointment.
When a technician finally arrived, I was told the unit would either require a very difficult repair or a full replacement. Once again, I was told I would receive a follow-up call explaining next steps. I never did.
After a severe snow and ice storm, my home temperature dropped to 57 degrees. Over the next several days, I called no fewer than fifteen times seeking an update, with almost no callbacks. The only information I eventually received was that a part had been ordered and that it would take approximately five business days to restore heat—an unacceptable outcome for a nearly new, warranty-covered system that cost approximately $25,000.
The lack of communication, missed appointments, and failure to follow through at every step have been extremely disappointing. Based on this experience, I would not recommend ARS Rescue Rooter to anyone considering HVAC work.

Do not recommend this company
Do not recommend this company. Our local technician, Roger, is great, but the company is terrible. We likely paid too much for our A/C unit in Sept 2023. Then our hot water unit was bad, so we had them install a new gas on-demand unit. They failed to run a pipe outside. The county inspector passed the inspection but noted that the pipe needed to be extended outside. ARS refused, stating the inspection passed.
A/C not wired correctly, so could not keep up with humidity levels in 2024 Virginia summer. It has taken over 3 weeks to get it sorted out. We have had 3 no call no show appointments FROM MANAGEMENT. Pushing now for the $555 Comfort Guarantee check. Ridiculous. Run far and fast from this company.

ARS Houston SOUTH
ARS Houston SOUTH - no issue with the service call or the Tech Manuel, however, system needed replaced 13 grand (yes $13,800.00) later and they haul off the old system, I call my Homeowners Insurance to file a claim, this started 4/10/2024, here it is 5/2/2024 and we hear crickets from ARS when it comes to getting the paperwork showing system was fried and new system was required. This is in Houston, TX, A/C is a necessity not a luxury, even with a 5 grand deductible with a policy that has had no claims is better than footing the entire 13 grand.
