ARS/Rescue RooterReviews of ars.com

My air conditioner lasted less than 3 years. I was charged $9200 for the AC and HVAC and was told how great a product I was buying. They are now unavailable to come out. My family and dog are burning up as it is 82 degrees in my house. They are liars and crooks.

If I could put a number less than 1 I would. I contacted this company around 530am for service and went online to schedule an appointment. Although this so called company is 24/7 there service is not. My appointment was between 12 and 4pm. No one never showed up. I called them at least three times to confirm my appointment and they claimed it was canceled. By who? I took from work to ensure someone was here for the repair. I will never recommend them to any of my homeowner friends.

This company installed a Carrier HVAC unit for me at a cost of $10,000. It took them an entire year to complete the installation because they could not figure out the heating portion. They ultimately had to subcontract another company to finish the job, leaving me without heat for most of the winter. Four years later, the unit failed. When I contacted them for service, the technician they sent quoted a repair cost between $1,500–$1,800 and demanded that I pay one‑third of the cost upfront. I requested an invoice, which the company refused to provide. Because I was desperate, I paid $580, and then heard nothing back for weeks. I eventually contacted the manufacturer directly and learned that the HVAC system is under warranty, meaning all parts are free. I was also informed that ARS is not one of their certified distributors. I then hired a certified distributor from the manufacturer’s list, who quickly identified and resolved the issue. I requested a refund of the $580 five weeks ago and still have not received it.

I was approached in Lowes to get a A/C checkup for 19.00 I called made the app't for Monday May 11th, between 12-4.I got several texts reminding me of the app't then i got one telling me that David Mora Reyes is on the way. will be here between2:50 and 3:05. He never showed up. after 4 pm i got a call from the company and apologized for him not showing. But if i would like to schedule it would be 2 weeks out. That is insane to get me waiting those 4 hours only not to show up. This is no way to run a business. I will also inform Lowes of my experience.

I scheduled a system check with Beutler Air Conditioning and Plumbing after a recommendation from Lowe’s, and the experience was extremely disappointing. They cancelled on me at the last minute not once, but three separate times. No meaningful effort to reschedule proactively, no sense of urgency, and no respect for the customer’s time. If reliability matters to you, I would strongly reconsider before booking with them.

I wouldn't recommend going to ARS/rescue Rooter because as many people have stated they are Crooks and they will scam you out of your money like case in point when I was surprised by a phone call by them I said I do not want them to come out to my house that I wanted to cancel them coming out to my house but they came out anyway so I would strongly recommend to avoid ARs and go with someone else like Preferred Home at least they know what they're talking about ARS are nothing but Crooks

These guys are crooks, Beware. I had them come out for a simple AC check up, my system was working fine I checked it before they came, nothing leaking ect. Sal was not keen to do a good cleaning since I had a 29.00 coupon. Practically had to beg him to at least take the cover off so I could use a leaf blower to clean out the unit. When he did I went in my garage to get the leaf blower, when I returned he was messing with the lock out values and letting out refrigerant. I asked what was going on and he said lucky he was there because I had a value problem and it needed to be replaced. Then he told me I need to spend a minimum of 400.00 to add refrigerant after he let it out!!! Then suddenly my fan needed to be replaced for another 1,200.00. I told him to wrap up the service and go. I was billed 228.00 for a 29.00 piss poor cleaning and two 15.00 locking caps. I have called ARS 3 times asking to speak with owner or service manager for over a week and NO return call, I was very specific in what I wanted to talk about. I had another company come out to do a real cleaning / inspection and guess what? There is Nothing wrong with my fan. I paid 225.00 for a thorough cleaning / inspection and to refill the refrigerant. DO NOT USE ARS !!! THEY WILL ROB YOU!!!! I will take a lie detector and swear to this story in court, it is 100% accurate.

It is my position that the salesperson demonstrated a clear lack of competence and professionalism throughout the process. Critical information regarding system specifications, installation requirements, and performance expectations was either inaccurately presented or omitted entirely. This resulted in a transaction that did not align with the needs of the homeowner or the representations made at the time of sale. Furthermore, the salesperson appeared primarily motivated by financial gain rather than the best interests of the client. There was little to no effort made to ensure that the recommended system was appropriate, properly explained, or supported by transparent and accurate documentation. Questions were inadequately addressed, and follow-through on commitments was lacking. Such conduct raises serious concerns regarding misrepresentation, potential negligence, and failure to meet reasonable industry standards of care and ethical sales practices. Homeowners rely on HVAC professionals for informed guidance, and this level of service falls significantly short of acceptable expectations. This review is submitted in good faith and reflects my honest assessment of the experience. I strongly advise that corrective action, including additional training, oversight, or review of sales practices, be considered to prevent similar occurrences in the future. I’m still dealing with a resolution. Cost is off the chart.
