At every step in the process the Archway staff has been more helpful than I could have expected. Everyone I worked with was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful in guiding me through the publishing process.

I would say that the Archway team did an amazing job! They all were very knowledgeable in their areas. The only criticism I have is with the communication. Often times my emails would get returned within the last few minutes of their shifts so I would often have to wait one to two days to have my questions answered.

I am happy with the process to get my book published. The manuscript was formatted correctly and my cover design was very good using my person photograph. I had good relationship with each consultant at every stage in the process and was on schedule. The only reason not to give five stars is the fact I wasn't satisfied with the publishing consultant that wouldn't return my calls on a timely fashion and I am still waiting to get update when my book will be available for ebook distribution and to place an order for physical books. The other thing is that Archway doesn't help in marketing the book unless you pay for that service and I had proposed the basic package due to budgetary reason. I thought that Simon and Schuster would help along the way also...so I am doing my own marketing with FB and friends....

Archway Publishing intitated a monthly billing of my credit card for $9.99 for the "Author Leanring Center" without my consent. Despite multiple calls and letters, they continued to bill my account for months until my credit card company issued a stop payment. My credit card company reversed all charges but it was headache. This is not the company you want to help you self-publish.

They are a legitimate company and they can get your book published. However, the procedure is filled with omissions and hidden tricks. In the beginning they will tell you one thing and later on turn and say the complete opposite. They always try to sell you additional services and once they get their money give you an excuse why they cant fulfil the services completely. It is basically a very deceptive way of doing business. I, personally, will never work with them again. They are skating on thin ice when in comes to being scammers. Also, their phone numbers all have the caller id as potential scam, so take that with a grain of salt. I wouldn't trust most of these 5 star reviews on this page either. That's one of their strategies.

The final product turned out ok. Over email, they were responsive. However, there is little phone communication unless they want to sell you something, and there is not much clarity provided for you to make good decisions. Editing was poor and delayed project a bit.

The Archway staff have been extremely helpful every step in what for me was a new process of publishing my first novel. I had already hired a couple of editors prior to joining Archway, but their editor raised my draft to a higher level. I was given several excellent options for fonts and cover designs and truly happy with the final draft.

Archway promises authors seeking to publish a book an experience that balances flexibility and support. For me, they delivered flawlessly on both fronts. I'd highly recommend working with Archway Publishing.
