Three books published; not an enjoyable experience for a novice author
As I worked with Archway on the publication of three books, I began to think I was a bank. Everything cost, cost big. Line edits were not accurate and of course it was always my fault if anything was inaccurate even if Archway made the mistake. I had hoped that the final book with the large number of pages with no pictures would have been changed so more words would be incorporated on the pages with pictures or at least guidance would have been given to me to make a change. As it was there was supposed to be shading on each of the pages. The shading doesn't show on the printed work. I am very disappointed. I felt that being associated with Simon and Schuster would at least imply quality work and care. What a disappointment in the processes toward publication. All I can say is it was a money grabbing scenario with any quality that resulted was because of my work.
