My manuscript has a disclosure that (all names have been changed in this book to ensure the safety of all people within). Archway took my money $3,338 upfront before starting the "content review". Days later I got a reply saying that I can't use real names and that I would need to use a pen name. They obviously did not read my manuscript once they got their money. I called for a refund, but was ignored in every call & email. They would not talk to me, but they did give me my refund (minus $400). Nearly ALL other companies do their content review for free. Archway also closed my "review" link after requesting a refund. I can't speak for everyone, but I was very unhappy with them. They called and cared up until they got my money.... then I wasn't worth their time. (Or at least this is how I felt).

Paid for editing, which i did. Paid for cover which i also paid extra for. No communication, also missing 40 pages in my book

The process from start to printing was good, especially working with Deena. However when I received the printed book the paper was below standards and made my book look cheap. I'm not happy with the final result

I published my first book with Archway Publishing a few weeks ago. They were very professional and helpful through the whole process. My book was 612 pages and took a lot of work to complete, but they were there each step of the way to make sure the book was completed the way I wanted it. I would highly recommend Archway to anyone wishing to publish.

I knew what I was getting into and wasn't expecting too much. They did a good job formatting the book and doing all the stuff behind the scenes to get it listed in Amazon, B&N, and make it available in catalogs. However, don't fall for the marketing add-ons. They send out press releases, but there's no follow-up. In short, there's no guarantee or real effort to try to get your book reviewed or in stores. Maybe I had a poor marketing rep, but they only did the bare minimum and were never proactive. I always had to reach out to them. It's not a scam, but there's not a ton of value in what they claim as marketing.

Don’t make false claims especially when it comes to marketing. They will say anything to get your money. My second book was published by another company. It was actually completed one month before my first book and it cost less.

Be patient I don't know your process and expect changes or edits faster. You send back a PDF file and I can't change anything. I don't know how to identify location that need some edited or how to edit them. Prices are not clear to have your people edit the whole book.

It took one calendar year for the project.
