Worst law group! Text me over and over again reminding me of appointment and constantly asking if I want to reschedule or cancel. Then he missed appointment and I had to call in. Secretary said he's on other line hell call me back. He called alright, rude and wanted thousands of dollars. How are you in business still?

Always happy to advance another fee request!
Retained Rapacke Law on 5/19/2023 to do Prior Art Patent Search ($2,000). Found several related patents, closest being a Japanese patent that solved the same issue but in a very different manner.
Retained Rapacke Law on 6/19/2023 to file for a patent. ($5,500)
Rapacke Law finally files patent application on 11/28/23 more than five months after fee was paid. This five months has been filled with months of silence and missed deadlines during which I offer to draft an initial version, get on the phone to talk through language, etc. Anything to advance the process! I'm making the same corrections to drawings and text (including spell check issues) throughout.
My idea is simple but seems to be beyond the assigned associate's comprehension.
3/23/2026 - Application rejected:
Drawings rejected - Produced by Rapacke's artist, checked by his associate.
Claims fail due to format - Prepared by Rapacke's associate.
Prior art discovered - Similar US Patent applied for in 2022. (Wait! I paid $2000 to find this three years ago and it was a US patent, not some obscure foreign patent!?!)
Andrew is happy to fix HIS ERRORS for another $3,000. He can't understand my frustration. Not willing to throw more good money after bad, especially now that the prior art has been discovered.
In his final communication Andrew even spells my last name incorrectly. This is indicative of the lack of attention to detail experienced throughout the entire process.
The entire process is documented in e-mail. No controversy as to the the facts recounted above.

Slick, compelling website. Nightmare experience.
Once you sign their contract, prepare to beg. The first draft deadline for the contracted non-provisional patent application was catastrophically missed. The reason? The lawyer the RLG outsourced my application to, who lived in another state, missed the initial deadline and then went on vacation. He then slow-walked the draft reviews and ran out the clock until the filing deadline (a classic fixed-fee lawyer move). No problem for RLG, as they’ll happily file your application in an unfinished state with more typos and mislabeled figures than a third grader’s paper.
I begged them to fix it and was ignored. Some associate in Colorado then called to collect the rest of their fee, unaware the application wasn’t complete. I begged the RLG to finish the application himself, but was ignored. I begged again, and 45 days later, I received a partial response that addressed only a fraction of the necessary work.
I fired the RLG and learned through my new lawyer that there were two USPTO letters regarding the application that RLG never forwarded (a major RLG contract breach and violation of The Florida Bar rules), and the application had become abandoned—dead in the water.
Under the RLG's care my ap sank quietly, like a ship in the night and I paid my new lawyer a significant amount to salvage the application and requested the RLG to refund their fee and cover the cost of the legal work to revive my application...but all I got from the RLG was deflection and gaslighting.
Ignore, deflect, derange. They ignored my stated issues, deflected the blame onto me, and derange the facts. Ignore, deflect, derange—for months. Every attempt to settle was met with that technique. I’m now paying significantly more for my patent application, and the RLG still retains my 50% fee for contracted work he never delivered.
What an awful, expensive, and soul-crushing experience.
0/10…would NOT recommend.
A quick note to others who may have experienced unethical representation from the RLG. You can file a free complaint with The Florida Bar online through their Attorney/Consumer Assistance Program (ACAP).

No one ever calls back or answer the phone except dumb AI
I spoke to a Casey last Tuesday.said I would call again Friday, I’ve called Friday, Monday, Tuesday and now today. No one has ever called me back and I had left a message as well. Crappy service especially if they want 12k to do a patent, you’d think they would return calls.

Had one meeting
Had one meeting, they said it would be two business days to get my trademark processed. They sent over a retainer agreement and a request for payment. I paid and never heard back from anyone. I sent an email to Christopher a couple days after the deadline and didn't receive a response to that either.
Update: I was forced to call them on the phone. My trademark was taking longer than expected and no one wanted to communicate that with me without prompting.

Complete Fraud
Complete Fraud. Sure....they filed the trademark application, but only after making me do my own research. So I submit my findings and low and behold.....my application gets denied because of one of my findings. Called them multiple times to follow up with their "Application Guarantee"...I hadn't been called back. Eventually, I called to ask for my refund, minus filing fees (as promised by their "Guarantee") Obviously, they didn't call me again. This law office is an absolute scam and should be avoided at all costs. If it worked for you, it's only because you had a patent or trademark that was seamless and required NO WORK to push through. Unless you want to be taken for $1500, I would keep looking if I were you.

Like pulling teeth to get them to deliver work!
Absolutely terrible service! At every stage in the patent preparation process, he was at least a week late in his promised delivery time window, and he would not even reach out to me to tell me why or inform me of a delay. Instead, I would have to reach out to him often several times to get him to work on my patent. I politely expressed my dissatisfaction but saw no improvement in performance. More than a month and a half after paying them to work on my patent filling I have still received nothing more than, "sorry, i'm slammed" bs placating email and a bunch of spam from his firm.
