I purchased two ISTA Co2 kits for my two nano aquariums. I talked to their support about having issues with the diffuser not diffusing properly and water backing up in the air tube. They were kind enough to send me check valves and new diffusers, but now the new diffuser has messed with the co2 regulator or something. It's a one nanometer difference between one bubble a second or twenty, and since ive got two, i have to tweak these things every. Single. Freaking. Morning. I asked if there were compatible solenoids to maybe relieve myself of this hellish process over a week ago and no answer. The plants either get too much co2 and choke out the livestock or too little. The issue persists even after switching the new diffuser back with the old one. Very aggravating. And of course you have to pierce the canister with the regulator to use co2 for your plants, so I can't return either at this point, according to their policy. Horrible experience, I'd kill for a refund. 'Ideal for beginners', I don't think so. I hope these canisters run out of co2 soon so I never have to touch them or this brand again.

I ordered live plants and live snails on 05/10/2026. The order was packed and labeled on 05/14/2026, but it appears the package was either misplaced or not handed over to USPS until 06/05/2026—nearly three weeks later. The package was finally delivered on 06/08/2026. Unfortunately, all of the snails arrived dead and emitted a very strong odor upon opening the package, which is consistent with prolonged transit or improper handling. Fortunately, the plants appear to have survived and are in reasonably good condition.

Shop elsewhere. Took forever to get my orders and most of my pricey order of rabbit snails died soon after arrival. No help resolving the problem either.

I placed an order, and a few days later got an email that my order was shipped. A couple of days later their website showed the order was "fulfilled". I contacted them only to be told they hadn't even worked the order yet. I ordered some plants and 9 snails which I consider to be live animals. Their website says they only ship live animals on Mon,Tues, and Wed. They say this is so the animals don't get stuck in shipment over the weekend. So I get an email from UPS that they finally received the package at 403pm on Thursday. I paid 30 bucks for 2 day delivery. Since it was delivered so late and it's a holiday weekend they won't deliver my package until Tuesday the following week. My 2 day delivery is now a 5 day delivery. When I spoke to Aquaticmotiv, they told me to wait and see what happens. I think they should refund my shipping fee. They don't think so. This company does not care about customer service. I highly recommend shopping elsewhere. Ord 23577

offered me 50% off my next order which would be nice if I had recieved my first order of $100. Wanted me to spend another $50 because ups wont deliver fish to apartments. If I had known I couldn't get my plants and snails delivered to an apartment I would not of ordered. Id rather not spend $150 on 4 snails and some plants, thanks but no thanks. 0/10

This is a Scam site. Buyer Beware. The most terrible experience ever. Terrible customer service. Bad Practices. Does not care about the customer at all. So rude. Lots of lying. Held my money for 12 days and never sent my order. I asked why my order has not arrived and then they cancel my order with no notification no resolution offered. still have not got my money back either! Please don't spend your money at aquaticmotiv.com or you will regret it!
