In Stock Falsehood and No Notifications
I was very excited to find the part I needed to repair my vent hood at a decent price. It said the part was in stock and would ship in 2-5 business days. When it didn't arrive in that time I called and was told it was back-ordered until 10/14. When I called to follow up after that I was told it was now back-ordered until the end of the month. I was extremely frustrated because no one had ever contacted me. And, I was concerned that I would just waste more time for nothing. However, I kept the order in place hoping for the best. The next day, Paypal notified me that my order had been cancelled! Again, not a word from Appliance Parts 4 All. Now, I'm back to square one, but a lot of time wasted and my money held for weeks. It felt very sketchy!

Our system relies on manufacturer stock feeds, but when a factory updates an item to extended backorder or marks it as no longer available, delays in factory status synchronization can cause inaccurate availability listings on our website. Furthermore, automated notifications should trigger as soon as a status changes, so leaving you to call for updates rather than sending proactive alerts was a clear breakdown in our communication process.
When the manufacturer confirmed that the switch box could no longer be produced, the order was canceled and a full refund was immediately processed back to your original payment account. We deeply regret the weeks of lost time, the temporary hold on your funds, and the overall frustration this situation caused for your repair. Your experience highlights key areas where our backorder notification system and stock feed accuracy must be improved, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us.
