Signed up for free trial in UK, watched one episode of Slow Horses. All OK. Went to another European country, watched most of the rest of Slow Horses on a TV there that I own. No problem. Came back to UK 10 days later and cannot get into Apple TV. It repeatedly comes up with "in-app purchases not allowed ...." or demands another subsciption. I am subscribed. This is such rubbish. I have tried various work-rounds recommended. Nothing works.

Mein Zugang hat nie korrekt funktioniert. Erreichbarkeit des Service gleich null. Schwierigkeiten bei Kündigung meines. Abos. Mehrere 10€ ohne jegliche Gegenleistung verschwendet. Nie wieder irgendwelche Dienste von Apple.

Since Nov 09, 2024 I can't recover my password because the "email" never comes!! I am a hostage of Apple TV because I can only cancel my subscription if I access the account. They told me I have to dispute the subscription with my credit card account in order to cancel my subscription. The customer service told me it could take weeks until they send me the email.

In my opinion Apple intentionally makes it extremely difficult to cancel monthly subscriptions in the hope that the subscriber will just keep on paying for something he/she no longer wants. Do not accept a free trial!
