I would put “0” stars. Apple Pay IS NOT a safe form of payment. I have used it only twice in different instances a year apart form each other. In both occasions my card has been hacked. The most recent was a deposit for a puppy. The merchant insisted in using Apple Pay. Double stupidly on my part: put deposit for a puppy (scam 1) and paying using Apple Pay (I should have known better)

Essentially, I have been black listed from ever using Apple Cash in the future due to reporting fraud with my bank instead of the bank Apple Cash directly. They informed me that they made the business decision to permanently disable my account and there is no way to reopen this. To me, this feels like I am being discriminated as the person committing the fraud when I was the one who got robbed and had to deal with a nasty situation. Maybe if I was the type of person who wouldn’t get robbed, Apple Cash would like my business.

Apple Case ID: 102298190471 Firstly they have listed a lot of junk apps for subscription and their only responsibility is to milk revenues out of it. I paid INR 799 for NovaBeats subscription that never got activated date and time of transaction 15th May 2024 time 20:20 hrs IST. Spent over and hour with the apple executive for refund and hopefully should get it in 48 hours or so.

Wish I never allowed Apple Pay because it makes unauthorized payments without my consent. May as steal from my bank account. I hate apple for this because too many dishonest and thieves are in this country being supported by the congress

Easy to have money taken out of.

Attention on Apple pay - it is being widely used for Fraudulent transactions now a days which is really very bad. I am also the Victim of this fraud. Due to this I have to pay 15K AED for the transaction which i never perform.  1) I never have/used any apple pay account or Gadget. 2) All transactions done through Apple pay, then how it can be done by Android phone.  Major reason behind this is the One time OTP, after that unauthorised user did not require any OTP for multiple transactions. So, transactions are happening within a couple of minutes. I reported fraud to the Bank and also logged to the police report but nobody is listening to me because they are just telling me  one thing, Apple pay is a secure portal so they can not take any action. but here I am facing a lot of problems because I have to pay for the Transactions that I never performed.  But the truth is this one time password is a headache for a normal middle man now, which is the biggest loophole this time. and due to this bank is not ready to take any action. Apple pay donot have email account to report. really wrost thing.

I made a purchase through Apple Pay, because I thought the vendor they selected to represent the company had been vetted. I purchased a phone case,from an online vendor through Apple Pay. The money was taken out of my account, and I never received the merchandise. I called Apple pay credit card and they had they told me I had to prove that I never received the merchandise. It’s a win-win for Apple. My money was taken. The merchandise was kept. Apple Pay and the vendor are in a win-win situation. Applepay selects the vendors that they will represent the company knowing they are crooks.The vendor keeps the merchandise and your money. I’m being told there’s nothing I can do about it because I don’t have proof of purchase. The vendor took the money out of my account never delivered the merchandise. The merchandise never sent an email confirmation, and I am required to have proof. Applepay and the vendor won… I as a consumer that trusted a reputable company (Apple) lost

Contacted Apple (Pay) UK to inform them that their Apple Pay has stopped working on my iPhone 15 Pro. Their agent kept asking what the problem was. After answering this same question four times. I informed him that Apple Pay declines all payments. On researching this I found that I am not alone with this Apple Pay problem. Their agent insisted on asking what the problem, even trying to suggest that the problem was with my bank card and lack of funds in my account!!! Having informed this man that it was not anything to do with my account or card he started to ask what was the problem. That is to save my embarrassment and lose my temper I hung up.
