Appfolio Makes Our Job Easier! We have been running Appfolio for almost five years and couldn't be happier. We have so many tools available at our fingertips. Appfolio is helping us to run our business more efficiently and helps to keep track of everything, stay in compliance, and back up our activities. They are always adding new features and making the software better. Their support team is second to none and the response is fantastic. I will be a customer for a long time!

User friendly and the customer service support team is wonderful

Overall, we have loved the AppFolio experience. The GUI is responsive and intuitive, and the customer service was absolutely amazing when we started in 2018-2019. Though, the quality has admittedly weakened a little since then. AppFolio is noticeably geared towards residential properties. They have made some strides towards better commercial inclusivity, but I believe other commercial management companies likely have to make similar workarounds with templates, guest cards, report format, etc. There are few nagging bugs that I'm surprised have not been worked out such as better organization of commercial tenants and their internal contacts. For example, we wouldn't want a rent statement to go to their maintenance staff, or we might not want a notice of HVAC maintenance to go to a CEO. This also applies to online portal access as well. That being said, for the price we pay, AppFolio is a great deal. If they continue on their trajectory, it will be an extremely useful and cost-effective tool for all types of management companies, big and small.
