They are scammers of some kind. DO NOT START THE 99c SUBSCRIPTION.
There is no way in website to cancel it.
BUT if u have done so go to support page click cancel subscription and write message that if they don’t cancel it asap your gonna sue them. It worked for me

SCAM- Took $100+ of money for a service which does not work. They could not actually do any of the questions I requested.

Just got scammed as well. They issued me a 50% refund in 7 days time. The website is clearly made to scam people. DO NOT USE THIS APP, EVER! If i get fined again i will involve police.

I was scammed just like the others. Be mindful of where you put your credit card info, they will detract money from your account with no warning. It's not illegal, just purposefuly dishonest and the actual service sucks too.

An Exploitative Service That Preys on Vulnerable Students
My experience with Expert Chat has been incredibly upsetting and feels deeply exploitative. At first, they outright refused to issue a refund for a charge I didn’t fully understand or consent to. After I repeatedly insisted, they offered to return $15, but this doesn’t even cover the actual cost of the 2000-word limit I needed. This partial refund feels like a hollow gesture, not a resolution.
To share a bit about myself, I’m a 19-year-old student. My mother, an immigrant in Italy for the past six years, works hard to support our family. For me, losing this money is not just inconvenient—it’s devastating. This isn’t just a service fee; it’s a significant portion of my monthly budget.
What’s worse, the subscription cancellation process was deliberately obscure. There was no visible "cancel subscription" button in my profile, which left me stuck in a cycle of payments I couldn’t escape. On top of that, the $30 charge was buried in fine print, far from obvious. This lack of transparency feels deceitful and unacceptable for any company.
I hope this review serves as a warning to other students and individuals with limited budgets. Companies like Expert Chat need to prioritize honesty, clarity, and fairness—especially when their customer base includes people who can’t afford to lose money to unclear terms and unnecessary fees.

I ordered “trial” subscription for 3 days for 0.99$. Then I canceled it because I did not need it anymore. They wrote “Will be charged - No, sub is cancelled”. Then after few days surprise came and $30 amount (monthly subscription) was taken from my account by this company. I immediately blocked my card, but it was too late. Support team was absolutely useless in solving this issue, so I will be solving this with my bank. Be careful.
