I have been going on/ off to Anytime Fitness for awhile. I love the atmosphere, it is quiet, clean and how it is organized is helpful. I like the natural light in the building. It is a very comfortable gym. I would highly recommend it.

I went to the anytime fitness in Maastricht and found that one of the members of staff was extremely rude and sounded like she talked down on me. Would definitley not recommend. Plus, prices are extortionate

9/9/23 I called Anytime Fitness in Chesterland, about a TOTALLY free fall shape up for seniors over 60, Tom the Manager met with me on 9/11, asked about my goals, said he had a great program for $40 a WEEK, I thought it was free, he said $40 a week was for a personal trainer, He took out a contract for me, I explained that not sure I was going to join yet, he said it was a formality in case I wanted to think about it, I filled out my name, address and phone number, he said “you forgot your financial information” I told him I wasn’t going to fill that out unless I was going to join, he put his head down on the desk,I asked about the Senior FREE workout he said it that would only cost $600, I asked how is that free he said “you get to use the facility” again asked me to add my financial information, again I asked him to explain what was free. He said you give us $600, tell us what your goal is, if you reach your goal you’ll get your money back, I said there was nothing in the ad that said that, again he put his head on the desk, feeling pressured I said I was going to take the form home to show to my son, Tommy lifted his head of his desk looked at me and said “So you just wasted my time? GET YOUR FAT A_ _ OUT OF MY OFFICE” I said “What” he said “you heard me Get your fat a_ _ out of here” and walked out, I started crying, there was another trainer present at the time, when I looked over at him and he just put his head down, then a woman employee came in to comfort me, Tommy came back and told her to leave, he said he called the cops and again ordered me to leave, I asked for the name of his supervisor he threw a business card at me, then used his body to shove me out of his office, I was scared and said don’t touch me, he informed me their were cameras I told him that I was happy to hear that, he yelled at me in the gym where people were working out, I went outside the police came. He spoke with Tommy then told me that Tommy said I was causing a disturbance, I never even raised my voice. I asked the officer if he spoke to the 2 witnesses he said no, I was later advised to file a report, and get a copy of the video footage, I tried, was told that there is no video INSIDE the office where it took place, I spoke to Tommy’s s boss, Travis Nemeth, & Matt Rami, I was told that Tommy ADMITTED he was out of line, and was told he had to take a behavioral class, which I think is BS, had Tommy been white, and I black, and he said what he said to me, it would’ve been all over the news, and Tom would’ve lost his job, This has nothing to do with race but with me reaching out for help and the Manager making me feel worse then I did walking in, they offered a free membership at the Newbury gym I declined because of distance, I was told that Tommy would be sending a formal apology, and they would let me know what was done to make sure this won’t happen again, have not receive it, This happened because I asked questions about a free senior wort out that was going to cost me more then 1/2 of my monthly pension, I contacted the Better Business Bureau and the Ohio Attorney Generals office about Bait & Switch & High Pressure Sales Tactics which is a violation of the Ohio consumer sales practice act

Went in for a 16 dollar bi weekly membership, he signed me up for a 3 year, (2000+ dollars) without informing me, and they are partnered with a debt collector because they know they scam people. Want to cancel? Easy! Just pay half of your outstanding balance for your remaining membership (1000 dollars) or we keep charging you anyway. This is on top of the annual fees they just flat out don't tell you about. Absolutely avoid this place.

Terrible service. My son tried to cancel his membership. He was told to email his cancellation request, but there has been no response, and we keep getting charged.

I have been a member of ATF for over 10 years. My membership automaticlly transfered from another gym to Preston. If I could rate my experience with Preston ATF Zero stars I would. Terrible experience that forced me to now join Snap fitness. I have put in a complaint with Victorian Consumer Affairs

How I miss this gym so much!! I am currently at LA fitness in Gaithersburg because I've had to switch gym's a year ago because I moved. But we've all had the feeling of not knowing how great something was until you lose it.. I was not grateful for the amount of hard work and positivity the owner puts into his gym. If you are in the Germantown area I highly recommend this gym it comes at a solid price, available at anytime of the day, and the staff/trainers are amazing! Every place has its's negatives: - They suck when it comes to bringing a guest like they will literally charge you extra for bringing a homie to work out with you. (this would have made it 5 stars) - no sauna :( the one thing keeping me at LA or else I would be making the drive

The workers are very nice, but no one tells you it’s a complete scam. They gave me a premium membership when I didn’t ask for it, and I had no idea I was paying 80 a month for a gym! I thought it was only 40, after that I decided to cancel my membership and it cost me 300 to cancel it, no one told me about that part of the deal either.
