Hi Shirley, thank you for contacting us. Some pet parents see results within days, most see within 10-14 days, and others take a bit longer – it all depends on the age, level of discomfort, and weight of your pet.
For the first two weeks, we recommend you double the standard softgels of Antinol®. We recommend Antinol® for at least three months and visiting your vet regularly for check-ups. We hope this helps - The Antinol® Team.”

It had absolutely no discernible effect on my dog. On the recommendation of the Antinol rep I tried it for 90 days. Very expensive way to find out that something does not work

Price jump of $30 without notice!
The product is excellent, and helpful for our dog. However, I just realized that the monthly subscribe and save amount charged to my credit card went from $65.00 to $98~ without any notification from the company!

No noticeable improvement
My 11 year old lab was on Pain Away and I switched to Antinol. There has been no mobility improvement at all. I will let this pack run out and discontinue use. The Pain Away helped her quite a bit in comparison. I wanted to try your product since I saw many rescues promoting this product but it’s just not for us. Thank you

BUYER BEWARE
In early 2016, a 'renowned' DACVS provided Antinol samples to treat my dog's CBLO complications and gave the product such an inappropriate sales pitch, it prompted me to dig deeper. It turned out, he was a spokesperson with massive (undeclared) conflicts of interest (for both Antinol and CBLO). Back then, very little evidence supported its use. Still today, I question the reported data, given what I know about the DACVS 'investigator' (who continued to fail to declare his conflicts in subsequent interactions, presentations, and publications). Not to mention, at least for a time, Antinol had a generous kickback program for prescribers and a difficult-to-cancel auto shipment program.
Incidentally, human versions Lyprinol and Omega XL were issued FDA warning letters in 2007 and 2021, respectively.
EDIT JAN 13, 2022: JUST PUBLISHED!!! MUCH NEEDED COUNTERBALANCE TO THE BIASED CLAIMS. SEE DOI: 10.18849/VE.V7I1.527
EDIT JAN 21, 2022 — IN RESPONSE TO VETZ PETZ's JAN 20, 2022 REPLY: Thankfully, we seem to agree that bringing facts and questions to light in a public forum is important. Six years ago, the veterinarian spokesperson for Pharmalink/Vetz Petz’s Antinol (PCSO-524, Perna canaliculus, green-lipped mussel, marine-derived omega-3-fatty acid) was just beginning to simultaneously research and promote it, giving rise to my concerns—after learning much more, they still stand today. In your lengthy general denial, you offered to investigate then cited your latest study. If this is the same paper, I know it well… in fact, the journal investigated undeclared conflicts of interest, confirmed them, and issued a correction: 10.1186/s12917-020-02713-9

Dear Jodi,
We have attempted to contact you a few times since your post to discuss your statements in more detail and your experience with Antinol. We would love to have one of our team specialists contact you to understand your individual situation with your pet and success with Antinol.
At the same time, we would also like to address some of your claims against actual facts to help give you clarity on the extent on our proven science, efficacy and non-biased relationships with veterinary experts, professors and universities across the globe for complete transparency for you, and anyone else that reads your claims.
There are only 2 scientists that are on our retainer list and both these professors live in Australia and ALWAYS declare that they are paid spokespersons and retained by our company.
Suggesting that a member of the veterinary profession (DACVS) is a paid spokesperson and has not declared his or her interest is a misguided statement. We would welcome you to name the person you have suggested and in doing so we will happily investigate your allegation on your behalf. Just to help you in the future, generally, all scientific papers are paid for by the company and when published the scientists declare they have been paid to do the work. This is standard practice. Also, should they then speak on behalf of the company they then must declare if they have been paid to do the lecture. We have always followed this practice which you will understand when we talk you through this point in more detail in person.
Our company has spent many years and thousands of hours conducting studies and we have more positive published peer-review journal papers than any of our supplement competitors. We started doing these studies back in 2011 and so to suggest that we do not have credible evidence is simply not factual. In fact, our last study that was co-sponsored by a major drug company and was published in a top 10 peer review journal by one of the most revered professors in the veterinary world. And again, we are more than happy to personally walk you through this specific paper (and our other 19 independent peer-reviewed papers) so you feel more factually insightful on the efficacy of Antinol.
To address your comment about kickbacks, we also have a veterinary payment program called the Vetz Petz System. Through this system, consumers can order product online from our website and the vet receives his normal margin less shipping and handling costs. The consumer gets a discount and the vet who first prescribes the product does not lose a sale to the internet. This system has been approved and in many cases is now used widely by many of the drug companies to support vets that were losing business to discount sites online. Also, it is very easy to cancel your subscription, just log into your online account, then pause or cancel. Job done! If you would like a personal induction on this process, happy to do this at the same time we address your misguided facts.
Jodi, we appreciate you bringing these questions to light on a public forum like Trustpilot; this allows us to highlight the great supporting evidence on Antinol so that all new and existing customers see we have full transparency when reviewing a product for consideration.
Please send us your contact details so we can arrange a time to speak with you in person, or if anyone else would like an in-person appointment with a team member on Antinol and its proven efficacy through clinical studies, please reach out on www.vetzpetz.com/pages/contact.
Hopefully we can chat soon Jodi.
