Nice agent, but couldn’t come close to the quoted rate through my government TSP annuity. Otherwise a good call.

The representative described annuities that would provide minimal income compared to my base which I found useless. Then he proceeded to other expensive investment types, including options, which I also found inappropriate for my needs. The only thing I learned is that annities are run by insurance companies to make money for the insurance company. You would have to live a long time to come out ahead.

I waited three days to get the packet of documents to start the process. The rep called me four days later. I went and invested my 780000 in my 401k with another company. Thanks for your replay however why would I still want to contact you since it didn't seem you wanted my business in the first place???? Doesn't make sense does it???

I thought the written materials and links you provided on annuity information comparisons was very helpful and unbiased. However, I was not pleased with the service given by the advisor who presented to me and spoke oto me over the phone. I felt that he was too set on his recommendation of a specific annuity fund to me, and was not willing to listen to my perspectives and to consider them. I was given the impression that the advice given by an Annuity Gator representative would be dispassionate and not partial to any specific product. I was quite dissatisfied and went ahead with my own decision on my investment decision. It appeared that the advisor was overly influenced by the promise of a commission for a specific fund.

It started off as a good conversation with Patrick. But then went downhill very quickly after we got off the phone. He was supposed to follow up with me but instead handed off to another person thinking that I was residing in New York when figuring out my annuities when I am moving to South Carolina. I've then sent a separate email to both Patrick and the other person saying please let me know who I should be working with given the explanation of me residing in South Carolina. I got no response even after a second email and then all the sudden a third person calls me out of the blue who I had no idea if they were associated with either of the other two people or if it was just another cold call resume. Needless to say it showed lots of Promise in the beginning but ended in great disappointment!
