AmpAura has disappeared—website offline, non-responsive, 5-year warranty is completely useless
I bought an AmpAura Purea 3 that worked decently for about 18 months, but it has now completely failed. The unit will no longer take a charge from any input source, and only the AC ports are still functioning. I'm left sitting on a giant $2,000 brick with 5% battery remaining. I should have seen the red flags earlier when these units were nowhere to be found outside of their own site and Amazon—where it was quickly pulled after bad reviews started piling up. All customer support completely vanished in 2026. I tried contacting them through their live chat multiple times, sent emails, and got total radio silence. To make matters worse, as of September 2026, their official website is completely down and unreachable. AmpAura has effectively abandoned its customers and refuses to honor the 5-year warranty sold with these units. They have left people stranded with non-working hardware and no recourse. Stay far away from this company.
