Amazing kindness and service from AmeriFreight! The shippers were late on both ends but compensated for it by providing a closer drop off at no additional charge.

My car was delivered early and in excellent condition so I want to take a moment to recommend this company to others looking to ship their car. I was very apprehensive when beginning this process but my very first contact was with Henry H, at AmeriFreight. He was so calm and helpful in explaining the process to me that I immediately relaxed. I truly appreciated his honesty about the pricing estimate as well as the scheduling procedures. Wanting to be thorough, I contacted two other highly rated companies and obtained similar information from them, but decided that the straightforward approach from Henry gave me confidence that they didn't and signed on. My trust was warranted and here's why: Customer service - All calls and email inquiries were answered quickly and completely. Notifications and follow-ups during the process also were helpful. If Henry wasn't available to respond there was always someone else to respond who could answer specific and general questions. Reputation/BBB rating - Although the other two companies I contacted both had A+ ratings with the BBB, I studied the complaints that were filed along with responses from each company and quickly discovered that a large percentage of complaints filed against AmeriFreight were a case of "mistaken identity." There is evidently another company operating with a similar name and the complaints should have been directed towards them and not AmeriFreight. These were all responded to politely by AmeriFreight and subsequently marked as satisfactorily resolved. To me this adequately explained the difference between an A and A+ rating. Price - Was within the predicted range I was given (and thanks to a couple of discounts was on the lower end of the range). This price was competitive with the other companies I contacted. Scheduling - I was notified one-week prior to my first available pickup date that a driver had been located at a company with a 4.9 star rating on the exact date that I had requested. Pick-up - With my agreement, the driver picked up the car two days earlier. It went smoothly and was handled to make it as convenient as possible. Drop-off - Right outside my home! I was delighted with this. Trip across the country (NY to OR) took a total of 5.5 days (pickup on Saturday morning, drop off on Thursday morning). Condition of vehicle - The car arrived in Oregon in exactly the same condition it left New York in (although it does need a trip to the car wash - it is January after all!). Based on my experience I would definitely use AmeriFreight again and recommend them to friends and family!

We needed to ship my son's car from Ohio to Connecticut where he is currently stationed. After looking around and not liking what I was seeing, I checked out AmeriFreight. The reviews won me over and I reached out and Michelle W. responded to me right away. I let her know we needed a few days to do some minor maintenance and would call back. On Monday my husband called Michelle and she got all the information I needed to complete, out to me via email and put it on the board. In short order their preferred carrier reached out and said they could pick the car up the next day. Michelle made the process super easy, explained everything so that we understood, and we got everything she needed back to her in a matter of minutes. The car was picked up the next morning (Tuesday) at 11am and was delivered the following morning (Wednesday) at 11am. Everything went perfectly! We could not be happier with our experience and would not hesitate to use their service again if needed. Thanks Michelle and AmeriFreight!!!

Michelle was awesome! She found us the perfect carrier who was able to accommodate our special needs. The carrier was exceptional and delivered our car from Texas to central Florida in two days.

I was helping my friend ship her car from NC to AZ and didn't know how to get it done. After reading reviews I found AmeriFreight was a top choice. The reviews were right. From start to finish my order 19686833 was handled by the excellent Tim, and I received follow up calls from other staff as well. Tim explained his role, the process, what to expect, etc. and it all went as he foretold. The only snag was weather related: snow delayed the shipment, and when I called Tim to get info about the shipment, within a few hours I heard to expect the freight company tomorrow afternoon. My friend was glad to see her car, in great condition, and was happy with the freight company at delivery. Overall, I highly recommend AmeriFreight, and if I'm shipping my car, would ask for Tim to help me with the whole process. Great job!

Not very impressed even though I had high hopes. At first when I called to retrieve my quote of $579 that was obtained online, I was greeted by a nice employee who walked me through the process. I was told that I'd be informed once an available driver was able to transport my car home to me from a different state. It wasn't until the next day that I had finally received confirmation. The lame part now though was that I had to act fast or risk losing the available driver. So I opted in, but now the price had jumped up an additional $200 all of a sudden. I had to pay about $278 up front to book and the remaining $500 upon the arrival of my car. I had no choice, I needed to get my car home, so I paid. Even after the payment, the communication with the driver and his company was very difficult. I tried my best to communicate with the company of my work schedule and to see if I could get a better picture of when to expect the driver. But unfortunately, the team did not speak very much English and so I don't think my words and concerns translated over as expected. I was already at work at 9am and still wasn't given any notice of arrival time except for the notification that it would be today. Then at about 9:30am I receive a text from the driver telling me he would be at my address in about 30 min to an hour. So, I had to ask to leave work to go home to receive my car. It was a very draining process that gave me so much anxiety. I tried getting a partial refund back but was denied. But I never want to transport through Amerifreight again. This was not a fun and worry-free experience. I'm happy my car made it home safely but I would never want to have that kind of scare again! **Update. 1/20/2025 at 7:46pm. Upon reading the response from you guys I am hearing nothing but a lame excuse. I remember asking for sure if the price of $579 would be locked in and was told yes. So, please tell me of the part where I was explained about the possible bait and switch fees? Even when I asked before booking why it jumped $200 extra the employee said "yes, it did come out to be just a bit higher, did you still want to book? I felt cornered. The dealership has already been holding my car for a number of days. You guys lack accountability. Just admit that you used tactics to tie me into doing service with you all.
