I’ve had a ESA letter for my dog for the past four years, but had to find a new person because I didn’t hear back from the old place. But what I think is unfair that you didn’t tell me it would be 30 days and I feel like I’m being scammed, but I hope not.

While we make every effort to ensure a quick turn around (typically within 48 hours), there are a number of factors which come into play. One factor is your state's requirements. Unfortunately, some states require a 30-day patient-provider relationship before an ESA letter for housing can be issued. This information is clearly stated on our website and through our customer support team. We apologize if you were unaware of your state's regulations, however, this is not something that we have any control over. We do not make the laws, but we do have to abide by them. Any ESA/PSA letter provider that you choose will have the same restrictions for residents of particular states. We certainly assure you that American Service Pets is not a scam.
