I tried several times and many minutes to "Start My Free Trial" and every time there was a problem with the payment. I checked the balance on my card and there were sufficient funds to cover the automatic billing for a year, so I don't know what the problem was. Fine by me if they don't want my money, I'll spend it elsewhere.

I think the company sucks I was a employee my paycheck was stolen out of my mailbox been trying to get a hold of someone so you can put a stop on the check but all I freaking keep getting is ( IM SORRY BUT FOR SOME UNFORESEEN REASON WE ARE CLOSED ) so I'm guessing the check has already been cashed and I will bet you anything they say well it's been cashed so we can't do anything about it if your damn company would answer the freaking phones I would not recommend working here at all

Don’t sign up for this service unless you plan on keeping it and paying for it for a long time. I got the trial to see if I liked it and then knowing that I would not have anyone I needed to send a card to in the next couple of months, I decided to cancel the trial and pick up a membership in a couple of months. That won’t be happening now! They make it nearly impossible to cancel a trial. There’s no way to cancel it online, they do not answer emails, and to reach them by phone is very difficult. They’re only available weekday business hours and you’re on hold forever. So if you work during those hours like myself, good luck getting a hold of them.

I have used American Greeting cards for years and have been quite satisfied until their latest change to createacard. It doesn’t have the selection or functionality as their old print card feature. Would sure like to know why they changed. I email most of my cards but occasionally like to print one. Not anymore.

Nothing like the paper card reputation. Seems like they bought rights to the name and host an awful eCard interface. I mean, the whole point is to send out my 55-75 eCards, right? Not if you're on their site -- max 50. You don't learn this until you have paid for a membership. Plus there are better sites, which are more affordable, which provide more professional content. I paid for a 2 year membership and cannot get a refund, even partial. Even the free, cheesy, ad-driven eCards are better than this company. Save your money!

I guess American Greetings has gone Chinese on us. I bought a box of Christmas Cards that was unopened that said it had 14 cards and envelopes. 14 envelopes but only 12 cards and 2 of those were not folded properly. Made in China. So I need to send cards to two more people and I looked for ecards so I wouldn't have to buy another box of cards just to replace the 2 missing from my box. I see American Greetings gets bad review for ecards too. Going to look for Christmas cards by another company after this. They clearly sold out.

I don't understand, why all the negative? Used this site to send one ecard which was claimed would be free if subscribtion cancelled within given period, this was found to be true. With the low trust rating I was, of course a bit concerned but went ahead using paypal as I knew that this allowed me to cancel any future payments easily. But this wasn't necessary as the sites subscription cancellation function was easy to use and worked well. The card recipient was very pleased with it so that was a big plus, so I'm very happy with a successful free transaction. With the confidence gained with my first use I will use this site again but allow first payment to be made before cancelling subscription as I was so pleased with the outcome.
