Great for peace of mind and the ability to communicate easily.
I am very happy to have found this system. I am in foster care for my granddaughter. I have introduced Amber Alert GPS to our case workers at child protection services. They did not know something like this existed. I hope they will recommend it to others in need of this kind of protection.

Overall does what it's supposed to
It's a good product. Battery life does suck. I wish there was a way to pay as you go, as I purchased to have my son use it on trips (i.e. Theme parks...etc) not necessary everyday, so that's not ideal...

Thank you for your feedback. It's very valuable to hear from you. Our devices battery life ranges from 24-48 hours. Your battery life is getting approximately 24 hours, which is in the expected life of a single charge on our device. If you are having issues with your battery, we'd love to have you speak with one of our technical support agents. Please call us at 888-334-3958. We can always try different settings to extend the battery life or replace the device if necessary. Right now we do not have a "pay as you go plan". Most families that we work with use the device on a daily basis to stay connected with their loved one. This gives them the peace of mind of knowing where their child is and gives them the opportunity to place a 2-way call if necessary. Your device is much like a cell phone (since it has it's own SIM card and phone number). Most carriers do not allow your phone to be turned off and on as needed. This makes it difficult to activate and reactive and would change the phone number each time. I hope this helps answer your questions. Great Product and Serive
Had had the Amber Alert GPS for 3 months now and have been very impressed. Great online tracking via Amber Alerts website. Also impressed with battery life, have tried other tracking devices and battery life was always an issue. Not with the Amber Alert GPS.

Great peace of mind....A parents must have!
I love this device. I didn't think it was very user friendly in the beginning but after just a couple of days I've grown to love it! I'm talking about it's kind of hard to tell when the device is on and when it is off. I just go online to double check the status after I press the power button to confirm whether or not it is on or off. It definitely works the way it is supposed to and the predator alert is awesome. A student stole my daughter's device after she sat it down and we actually located it using the information from the device itself. Everyone that sees it wants extra information and they think it's really cool including the police! I do highly recommend this for every parent that has a school age child or one that is away from home frequently.

Works great!
My son has a device and I was able to keep track of both my husband and son when they went camping for the first time together. It worked great even off the beaten path! My husband said it made it easy to track their progress as they hiked into the woods and even helped him to reconnoiter the path they took.
