I wish I can give half a star rate but since thats not possible so I gave one star. Today I was supposed to get my delivery from 8 to 12 pm. I called up the delivery guy at 10.45 am and he said he will deliver it in 30 minutes. Now since I am in India , when anyone says 30 min its automatically 1 hour. So , I gave him time and waited till noon. No deliver attempt was made but the guy mentioned in the website that he attempted. BIG BIG TIME LIE. WHY ARE THEY HIRING BUNCH OF CROOKS???? WHO ARE LIARS??? THEY WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND NOTICE CANCELLED THE ORDER AND SAID MAAM YOU ARE GETTING A REFUND. I ASKED THE MANAGER WHO ASKED FOR THE REFUND AND WHO ON THE EARTH GAVE YOU GUYS PERMISSION TO CANCEL MY ORDER ???? I BEING A PRIME MEMBER "SUCKS" . HORRIBLE SERVICE. I WOULD RATHER WITH BIG BASKET OR LOCAL DELIVERY PEOPLE . AMAZON FRESH IS HORRIBLE.

I’ve ordered twice. Both times, the produce was bad (slimy asparagus and rotten berries) and all frozen items (frozen fruit and ice cream) were thawed.

I don't leave a lot of negative reviews anywhere, and don't leave a lot of reviews in general. But I have to warn people about how useless Amazon Fresh is. I've used them about 10 times over the past 6 months. The first few deliveries went great. ANd they got consistently and progressively worse after that. I live in Denver, CO, USA. --------------------- Let me provide detail from only my own experience: 1.) No availability. Only one or 2 delivery spots will be available 3 days in advance. Maybe 50% of the time there are ZERO slots available 3 days in advance. In that case it is impossible to schedule a delivery 2.) Consistently missing items 3.) Consistently getting someone else's items 4.) Basic items out of stock. I mean basic, and I mean always. Distilled water, an onion, maple syrup, broccoli, salt etc. There are always at least 5 basic items on any order that I'll have to shop for separately 5.) Fundamentally unreliable. Sometimes your delivery (that you ordered 4 days in advance) just never shows up, with no explanation. 6.) Delivered pork chops that were 3 MONTHS EXPIRED. I only noticed when I opened them and was hit with the smell. 7.) Moldy, rotten produce The consistent bad quality would be inexcusable, even if I was the only person experiencing it. Each of the things I've listed has been confirmed by other customers across the internet as well. Summary, TL;DR: Do not use Amazon Fresh. This isn't even an issue of quality at this level of failure - it fundamentally can't provide the service it claims.

I placed a Fresh order two days ago and was only able to get a delivery slot today for between 1 and 3 pm. My order was not delivered by 3 pm. I spoke with a number of representatives as it kept getting later and later and the order was not out for delivery. I finally spoke with a Fresh supervisor in the US who said my delivery person could not deliver the order and it should have been automatically rescheduled for another delivery person, but it wasn't. He said he would ask for another person to deliver it. Instead of that happening at 5 pm I got a an email from Amazon that the order had been cancelled and that I could call to reschedule it. When I did call they had no delivery times for today and none for tomorrow. This was a total wasted day and now I have no food. I'm very unhappy with the way Fresh handled this situaton.

DO NOT USE AmazonFresh - would give them 0 stars if I could! They are the worst most unreliable grocery service. 3 of our last 4 orders were cancelled with no explanation or notice! Each time the order is "packed and ready" and then never shows up and is "delayed" and then cancelled. What's more frustrating is the service provided by Amazon is just terrible - no one can help you/do anything/all pass the buck. They do not help with the issue one bit, and on top of it it's obvious they don't care/we're just a number. If you do try to re-schedule/re-order many items are then not available, only adding to the frustration. Changing to Safeway.com from now on - NEVER AGAIN will we use AmazonFresh. Save yourself the time and frustration and DO NOT USE AmazonFresh - you'll regret it!

I have appealed to Amazon Prime grocery delivery customer service several times to enable two-way communication between the buyer and the shopper who picks up groceries at Whole Foods on their behalf. After all, the shopper can text the buyer – why not the other way around? There are many situations when communicating with the shopper can allow buyers explain their preferences or suggest alternatives, rather than leaving it to the shoppers’ decision. Many other buyers encounter the same situation daily, no doubt. Despite multiple attempts to bring about this improvement in service over several months, I found that my pleas fell on deaf ears. Apparently, Amazon is too huge and powerful to care what individual customers think. Is there more alarming evidence that it’s time to breakup Amazon?

Placed an order for a 3-5 pm delivery slot to be ready for the evening's dinner. At 5:30 pm when still no delivery we contacted Amazon support who apologised, but still claimed the order was on its way. Now it has gone past 10:30 pm, but the order still has not arrived. Arrogant support staff still can't confirm if the order will arrive and offering a £5 gift voucher for the inconvenience. Needless to say, we will use another food delivery service in the future.

Orders go undelivered or delivered to the wrong address- frozen items come practically thawed. Amazon thinks ordering a replacement is the solution without much acknowledgement of how incredibly inconvenient this is
