I have used Amazon Fresh several times over the past couple of years. There has been a few small issues, but not so bad that I quit using this service. That is UNTIL TODAY. I ordered 2 pkgs of twinkies. Not a box, just pkgs. with just 2 in the pkg. Well there were items on top of them so they were squished. I also ordered a box of Snowballs. The box was laying at the bottom of the bag with SIX cans laying on top of them!! Obviously whomever packed my order, really didn't care how they packaged my items!! Plus in ONE bag, they put 2 pkgs. of pop in the same bag! One was 8 12 oz. Bottles of Sprite and an 8 12 oz. Bottles of Coca Cola. They were in the SAME BAG!! I'm 78+ years old and this was too much in one bag for me to pick up and carry into my house. All in all, I'm very disappointed and I seriously doubt that I'll use Amazon Fresh again. It WAS a great thing when Amazon came out with this service. But it sure isn't now.

A frequent problem of temperature control seems to be getting worse. Frozen items arrived totally thawed today and refrigerated items were barely cool. Food becomes unsafe for eating. Are the delivery drivers not required to use ice? I would pay for ice in my deliveries to keep items cold. I hope Amazon sees this and implements new temperature controls.

I used to love Amazon Fresh. I love being able to track my groceries and also have free delivery because of my Prime membership. However, over the last 8 months of me using them, it seems they've started to go downhill. Most of the time, I'm sent items nearing the end of their shelf life. There are other times where I'm sent items as a replacement for what they were out of stock of. I would've preferred to be told that it was out of stock as opposed to being sent something that I don't potentially like. Another thing they could work on is the delivery drivers following instructions especially during this pandemic. I make sure to leave clear instructions on where to leave the groceries and I still receive calls of confusion and wanting me to come down to them. I do like how they pack their groceries, though. Perishables are always with other perishables. The packaging always makes sense. However, they don't pack the perishables how they used to. There used to be an ice pack or a frozen water bottle (according to other reviews) packed with your perishables to keep them cool. Now, I've seen different packaging since then. They either: put it in a bag and leave it as is, put it in an insulated bag that resembles an envelope (best one so far), or put it in brown paper bags with some sort of lining that rips apart and sticks to your cold items. If they could fix the previously mentioned issues, they'd get 5 stars for sure.
