I purchased ALT’s Simply Vanille hoping for a dupe of Le Labo’s Vanille 44 — what I received was a sickly sweet, cloying, synthetic-smelling fragrance that was frankly nauseating. It smells nothing like the original. Instead of the elegant, smoky, warm vanilla I expected, this was more like an overpowering artificial vanilla candle melted in a car on a hot day. Even worse, the smell clings to skin and fabric I’ve had to scrub repeatedly to get rid of it. It's not just disappointing, it's gross. To make matters worse, as a non-US customer, I can’t get a refund only an exchange, which I don't want. Why would I risk another £50 on something else I won’t like? I feel completely misled by the marketing. This was a waste of money and I would never purchase from ALT again!

Bought one less than a month ago - Baccarat 540. The feel of the perfume on my wrist is like a thick slab of hair oil (greasy, almost like a thin layer of Vaseline). The oil left a stain on my white shirt that wouldn't go away unless I dry cleaned it. I took it back to them after the first use (~ 3 weeks since the date of purchase) showed them the bottle clearly hadn't been use more than one spray - the shopkeeper wouldn't even meet my eye and brushed me off saying no refunds. Although he said he would be happy to swap the bottle and give me a different one - which would still cause the same problem. Also, whole the perfume smells decent in the first 30 minutes or so, after that it smells like you're standing outside a fruit vendor selling cut fruits and juices (the sugary fructose smell). Would not recommend

ALT #2228170 Placed and order for their 3 pack bundle, received my order and noticed I could smell the cologne coming from the package. Once opened, notice that one of the bottles was not closed properly and had been leaking. I reached out to the company via email and sent them a video and pictures of the unboxing and pictures to where you can see the inside of the box that it had been leaking. 4 days later and 4 email attempts and no one has reached back out to me to resolve this issue. What I thought was a simple fix has now turned in to a big problem all because they chose to ignore a customer and not do the right thing. WARNING!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! CHECK THEIR REVIEWS WITH THE BBB. They have a F business Rating and many complaints of similar problems of not responding to issues from customers.

I wish I had looked at some reviews before wasting $150 on this junk. They smell like cheap alcohol, absolutely no other smells to them. This is a scam company that is in business to rip you off. They don't offer refunds. Only in-store credit. Who would want in-store credit for a company who makes junk products??? Nobody...

Order shipped ( allegedly ) to the wrong address. I'll never know because their customer service isn't real, they don't respond and neither does the CEO. This is a scam company that has zero interest in anything beyond collecting payments

Complete waste of money. I am struggling to find something positive to say about their product and service.

Terrible customer service! Was told my delivery would arrive in 5-7 days. After waiting 14days and no delivery, I emailed customer service and they said it would arrive within the week for sure. It did not. When I emailed again- they never responded. I had ordered to have on my honeymoon and wedding and nothing arrived in time for the wedding ( the order has still not arrived and still no response from customer though I emailed a third time. Do not buy!! Especially if you want to get in a timely way or for a special occasion.

This company is an absolute scam! I bought $160 worth of fragrances and 2 of them are just alcohol in a cheap bottle. Absolutely no scent at all. The other two smell like cheap cleaning products and the smell is gone after minutes. They also delete any negative feedback from their page. Avoid at all costs!
