Love the fashion, love the packaging, and I even like the fabric quality. However, almost everything I've bought is tearing at the seams. I've had my seamstress repair 4 things so far. Things that have only been worn once or twice. I've followed the handwash instructions and they are still becoming unthreaded. Very disappointed because these items are so cute and pricey!

Ordered 2 hoodies from alter’d state, one was completely thin, and the other had the perfect amount of thickness, I don’t know what happened, but for 89$ I would expect BOTH of them to be of the same quality.

I appreciate that some of their products are made in the USA, but the company is very dishonest about the materials listed on their product pages. I ordered seven pieces that were advertised as “100% cotton,” and when they arrived, only one actually had a 100% cotton tag. The rest contained blends that were not disclosed. Very disappointing and feels misleading.

I intially loved this store for it’s messaging and nice clothing BUT they are very greedy in pricing , which in my opinion goes against Christian values. Not everyone can afford 102.00 dresses of 89.00 for Jeans so this store excludes many, which id definitely not Christian. Their garnents are very over priced, so they are truly taking advantage so shame on them for using CHRISTIAN mission to promote greed. This makes me very sad to see

Shipping was super quick, but they sent a dirty dress. It was stained, snagged, smelled heavily of perfume, and had loose threads. Not sure how they could have missed these things before they mailed the dress out.

I remember when altered states first opened at the mall there were some clothes that would appeal to not just 20 or early 30s ages, but to a much wider Generational Customer base. The last time I looked online, there are mostly crop tops and very short skirts. I understand they’re trying to reach a certain demographic, however, A lot of these styles are very provocative for a store that claims to be Christian oriented.

Ordered 2 physical gift cards on 12/2/24 but received an email shortly after saying my order was "partially cancelled." Email wouldn't load properly on any device so it was unclear exactly what was cancelled. Called today and was told the entire order was cancelled. What company runs out of gift cards during the holiday shopping period? December 2nd isn't exactly at the last minute. So, I decided to get an e-card for my granddaughter. Chose the Christmas tree card but had it sent to my own email so I can put it under the tree for her. However, when it arrived there isn't anything decorative about it. No color, no tree picture, nothing. What's the point of all those choices for e-cards?? This was my first encounter with Altar'd State and will be my last!

Purchasing from the Altard State website, I have received stained clothing 4 times. 2 of these items were on sale, and 2 were full price. The 4th time occurred today, and I must say I’ve had enough. Is anyone checking these products for stains? Some have makeup stains, some have markings, and some just look plain dirty. Although I appreciate customer service reps refunding me, I still cannot believe that the website has sent me stained clothing on 4 separate occasions (and they weren’t cheap). The AS stores are much, much better in terms of cleanliness with their clothing, at least from my experience. The website, however, must require their employees to actually CHECK the clothing before mailing me items that look stained and dirty. Until then, I will no longer order from the website.
