Good quality. Unfortunately, I had to return it as it was not a good fit. Good customer service. It’s too bad that you have to return merchandise paid by you and there is a restocking fee. No refund for sale item, just credit or exchange. I lost a lot of money purchasing this coat and retuning it. I can’t exchange it as my size is sold out.
Response from Alpaca CollectionsSep 30, 2026
Thank you for your feedback, Bunny. We’re glad to hear that you were pleased with the quality of the coat and with our customer service, but we’re truly sorry that the return experience was disappointing for you. We understand how frustrating it can be when an item doesn’t fit as expected, especially when the size needed for an exchange is no longer available. Our return policy does note that sale items are eligible for store credit or exchange rather than refund, and that return-related fees may apply, but we completely understand that this can still feel frustrating in the moment. Your feedback is important to us, and we will keep it in mind as we continue looking for ways to make our policies and shopping experience as clear and helpful as possible. We truly appreciate your support and are sorry this part of the experience did not meet your expectations. Warm regards, The Alpaca Collections Team

Thank you so much, Patty. We’re really happy to hear that you loved the product and were pleased with its quality. We’re very sorry, however, for the delay with your shipment and for the inconvenience this caused. After reviewing the order, we understand this was related to an issue on the warehouse side, and we have already reached out to you directly with more details. We sincerely apologize for the bad experience and truly appreciate your patience and understanding. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us. We are always working to improve these processes, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future with the faster and smoother experience you deserve. Nice and simple to order. The order arrived in a timely fashion, very nice. I am looking for a sock that somebody gifted to me.Many years ago it was the peruvian link.I cannot find these socks. They lasted fifteen years.I wore them out.I love them.I tried to find them through this alpaca company. They're not quite the same. They're good, but since I've worn this other pair, the bar is very high.So I am still looking to find this Most wonderful pair of socks!However.... I am wearing these very comfy ,soft and warm socks a lot!!😄

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review, Jackie! We’re very glad to hear that your order arrived smoothly and that you’re happy with the socks you received. It means a lot that you shared the story about the pair gifted to you years ago — fifteen years of use is truly incredible, and we completely understand why the bar is set so high. While our current styles may not be an exact match for that original Peruvian pair, we genuinely appreciate you giving ours a try and sharing your experience. If we ever introduce a style closer to what you’re looking for, we’d be delighted to let you know. In the meantime, we’re grateful for your support and hope your search leads you to that “most wonderful pair of socks” once again. Warm regards, The Alpaca Collections Team

The hat is of good quality. Tends to dress larger. Would have gotten at least 4 stars if their return procedures were less complicated and they would include a return label. With their current system, unless you know your exact size, ordering is just a hassle. Other websites are more client friendly.

Thank you for your feedback, Ramon! We’re glad to hear that you’re happy with the quality of your hat. We appreciate your comments about our return process and sizing, and we completely understand how this can make ordering more challenging. It was all as promised. I rec’d the order within the time frame given. The sweater I ordered is so soft, well made and beautiful - my only wish is for it to be a little longer.

Nice gift for my sister, but the expedition was very expensive though very fast. The articles seem to be expensive, but the quality is there, so I can't judge in that. It came in and was nice.
