Very poor customer service.
I usually try to find smaller companies to do business with, and that's why I used AllAvionics. Initially I was impressed with how quickly they shipped my order, but that is where it ended. I have a Bonanza with wing tip fuel tanks, and I was unable to find any answers as to the fitment if the Uavionix ADSB SkyBeacon that replaces light would fit my tanks. I decided to just order it because the measurements looked about right, but the Uavionics unit was just barely too big. Being an aftermarket modification, I was aware there was a risk of this not fitting, but I felt confident if they didn't fit, I could simply return the item and use the GDL 82 instead. After discussing with AllAvionics, they finally instructed me to return the unit to EDMO, who is apparently their supplier, but they did not send a return label and I ended up having to spend $75 for shipping and insurance to send the part. After another 2 weeks, AllAvionics finally refunded my money, minus $150 with no explanation as to why. After posting this review, they told me the charge was a "restocking fee and also covered the costs of yellow tagging, shipping, and insurance" however I returned the part to a different company, the unit was never removed from the package, I paid my own return shipping and insurance, and I included an FAA 8130 (yellow tag) from my shop with the part, and at no time during my conversations with AllAvionics was I informed they planned to keep $150 for work they didn't perform. Also after this review was posted, they told me it was listed in their return policy that you can find if you dig on their website but could have easily been mentioned during the conversation regarding the return.

Dear Levi, We are sorry to hear about your negative experience! We strategically utilize our warehouses in Wyoming and California, as well as warehouses of several distributors, including EDMO, to ship out all our orders immediately - just as we did with your SkyBeacon on July 30th, 2021. On August 3rd, you contacted us via live chat to return the unit. Please see the transcript of our chat at https://allavionics.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/levidavis-scaled.jpg to see that a return at AllAvionics.com is a hassle-free process. You certainly did not have to reach us several times as claimed. Besides the live chat, all our customers can contact us anytime at (347) 274-8904. We wish we knew about your Bonanza's wingtip situation before receiving and shipping out your order. We would, of course, be able to advise you on the compatibility or offer a different solution. This would also eliminate the $150 restocking fee (including shipping, insurance, inspection, and yellow-tagging expenses) applied to TSO-certified units and detailed in our warranty & return policies. We've waived this fee to all our customers who decided to replace their unit with a different product (such as swapping skyBeacon with a tailBeacon). As confirmed via email on August 11th, we've issued your refund immediately upon receiving your unit. We have no control over the few business days' delay caused by the customer's issuing bank. Again, we apologize for the negative experience. Your business is much appreciated. Please feel free to reach out to us anytime to discuss this matter further. Thank you! All the best, AllAvionics.com Team
