A Good Product For the Money
Upon the advice of my physical therapist when I was an inpatient at a rehab facility, I bought a left drop foot splint for $35.00, tax & delivery. It's plastic & a little tight on my calf. I used my hair dryer to widen it. I got it bc my surgeon said he ordered a special fit one 7 weeks ago but I never heard from a medical co. It isn't a perfect fit but for the money, its a great fit & worked fine until I got the one my surgeon ordered for me (he wrote a prescription for it but no one ordered it) from a medical supply co., a better quality & a perfect fit but much, much more money. Thank GOD I didn't have to pay for the special made one. The medical supply co. is in network with my insurance co.,bc they are in network, it was discounted 50% off & my insurance co. paid for remaining balance.
