I’m writing this review to warn other customers about my experience with Alexander Hampton. The shoes were extremely poor quality—cheap materials, uncomfortable, and nowhere near what was advertised. Unfortunately, the bigger issue came when trying to return them. The company promotes “free returns,” which is simply not true. Once you start the return process, you’re informed that returns are handled by a third-party fulfillment company and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. This was never made clear at purchase and feels intentionally misleading. Between the low-quality product and the deceptive return policy, this experience was very disappointing. I would not recommend ordering from this company unless you’re willing to keep the product no matter what. Buyers beware—what’s promised on the website does not match reality.

I ordered a jacket from this Alexander Hampton online store almost 3 weeks before. And today it arrived. Meanwhile I also checked the reviews here on Trustpilot and I was pretty upset and disappointed after reading reviews. But was expecting maybe this time they will deliver a good product. The jacket was (and still) advertised as "premium leather" jacket. However, when I unpacked and checked the product, it's not premium leather rather artificial one, maybe a Rexine or something. No tags attached and only with one pocket inside but they advertised that they give with 2 inside pockets. I checked the material if it's original leather or not because I already have read the bad reviews. And guess what? It was fake leather. Never ever buy from this shitty online store! They do fraud scam or whatever you want to call it.

DO NOT BUY FROM ALEXANDER HAMPTON! The sweater I received (same as the other reviews- no tags, poor quality, not like the picture). They only offered a 15% discount because shipping to China would cost $50.00 and not guaranteed I would get a refund.

Scam! Let’s put these scammers out of business! Delayed shipping and false advertisement. Clothing not as pictured, is of the poorest quality and doesn’t have inner care tags (which is illegal in the United States) nor outer tags. You’re not able to verify material content or if the item is even new because of this, but you can feel the cheapness and see the off brand stitching with threads hanging. Items shipped from an Abby Adkins, a person in a warehouse in Chicago. They seem to have their customer service rep in China to detour you from returning their outlandish items that a 4 year old could sew. They will ask for pictures that they don’t want as an attachment and this process could take 3-4 days because of the time difference to the US. Their offer to you- 15% discount or return to China with $40-$50 shipping fee, the same cost as most of their items. Laughable! If you are not satisfied with either of these options and most customers aren’t, file a Dispute with your credit card company. Trust me, they’ve seen this song and dance before. And, if you have to, block their services so that there isn’t any funny business in the future.

You guys doesn’t deserve one star,nonsense.. Just playing with your customers money,listen if you guys should refund my full payment,if not there will be no peace,between me and you people..enough of this madness,from you people..I am very very disappointed with this company,rubbish.. What is wrong with you guys,I am very very angry,I ordered size 11(46),still after all the delays,you sent a little size for me and I ordered a brown colour,u sent a black colour to me.. I am not happy with what I received,I am sending back the shoe..refund my money,immediately and I am returning the shoe,as fast as possible.. I am not happy at all,after wasting my time and money,I received something that is not okay,just spoiled my mood..pls refund my complete.. For more than one week I wrote to you people via your email,up till today,I haven’t received any response back yet from you guys,regarding my complaint or refund,what is wrong with your customer service team,I will not rest,until my money is refunded.. You guys are really playing tricks with your customers,this is unfair and unacceptable,respond and refund my money,if you people want peace,enough is enough..

I regret that I didn't read the reviews. I received a sweater today that is not the size I ordered...it is too small. There are no tags inside to indicate its size or care instructions. Additionally, I ordered a cashmere sweater and received a sweater made of cotton. The construction of it is poor, won't last long. You can see the seam threads if you stress test the seams. I don't know why I didn't research this company as I normally do. Lesson learned. I would not order from this company. Will see if my credit card company can intervene.

Re: Alexander-Hmpton.com I purchased a men’s coat and received a confirmation number )which I took a photo of). I waited a week and received no delivery. When I went back on website to track my order, it stated “no order found “. I am also not getting a response from the online customer service.

I ordered a Men’s Palermo Leather Button-Up Jacket (Size XL, Dark Brown) from alexander-hampton.com on December 1, 2025, for $79.99 with free shipping and delivery promised in 4–8 days. I did not receive what was advertised. The photos and description clearly stated a “premium leather build,” but the item I received on December 18 (10 days late) is not leather, not suede, and not even a real jacket — it’s a very thin polyester terry-cloth-like garment with cheap plastic trim and a flimsy plastic zipper. The entire package weighed under 16-oz, which alone proves the jacket couldn’t be real leather. The fit is extremely oversized, shapeless, and looks nothing like the website images. This is blatant misrepresentation and poor quality. This site portrays a polished, high-end look on its website, but the products are cheap knock-offs, shipped from China, with no meaningful return support. Other customers report exactly the same issues — false advertising, items shipped from China, poor quality material, and no reasonable returns. I strongly advise anyone considering this site to stay away — they create a legitimate-looking storefront, then send inexpensive, low-quality products that do not match their descriptions.
