I wish I could give it zero stars to the Alexander Hampton where I ordered two pairs of shoes. They were incredibly cheap looking, very poor quality and smelled like glue. And they definitely gave me a runaround when I was trying to return them decided I had to send a picture of the shoes in an email. And finally after three emails they gave me the address in China that I needed to send them back to with the cost to mail them back exceeding the price of the shoes! They also labeled the shoes orthopedic yet they had no arch support whatsoever. This company is terrible. I highly recommend you never do business with them!!

Well, after over a month after placing the order for sneakers, I received them today. Although they're at least a full size smaller than what I wear & therefore unwearable, that has been my experience buying footwear made in China. Overall, I'm underwhelmed with my A-H online shopping experience & stick by my review title.

Very good quality, right size, comfortable... but i was a bit unhappy with the delivery, they arrived a bit late

I feel that you cannot trust this company. They have too many "over sight" when trying to get a refund and not even a full refund. Beware just an update I did get a 5.00 refund on 39.99 purchase very sketchy company. I will not be ordering anything from them again

This company Alexander Hampton is a scamer!!!I orderd a cashmere sweater and received the worst quality polyester sweater. Contacting the company is difficult.I will never buy anything from them agein.

Tried to return pants that were completely the wrong size and got the classic customer service runaround. Endless requests for “more photos,” “different photos,” “more descriptions,” then emails bouncing back and them claiming they hadn’t heard from me. This is pure return friction (“sludge”) making returns so exhausting customers just give up. I did. Donated the items instead. Won’t shop here again.

I would strongly caution anyone considering ordering from Alexander-Hampton. The shoes I received were $35 and are absolute junk. The quality is shockingly poor — cheap materials, poorly constructed, and nothing like what is represented online. After receiving them, I looked further and saw multiple negative reviews describing the exact same issues. That should have been my first clue. When I contacted customer service, the “resolution” offered was either: • A 15% refund (about $5) to keep a defective product OR • Return the item to China at my own expense — quoted at $40–$50 — to receive a full refund on a $35 purchase. Read that again. They expect customers to pay more to return the item than the item itself costs. This is not customer service. It’s a return-avoidance strategy designed to make refunds financially impractical. A reputable company stands behind its product. This company hides behind an overseas return address and policies that effectively prevent legitimate refunds. Save your money. The product quality does not match the marketing, and if there’s an issue, you’ll be stuck. Absolutely unacceptable.

I am beyond disappointed with this experience. I bought a $70 sneaker in the size I always wear and not only did it not look like the picture, it was two sizes too big. I also looked at their return policy and although it did state I would have to cover the shipping cost, it was never stated it was in China. Their solution is either I can get a 15% refund of the $70 and keep the sneakers or return it for $40 to China and only be reimbursed $30. This is a complete scam and I would advise no one to buy from them.
