The company is rotten. They hire staff for new stores and hire people who are told they are full time, which is what people need. Then after a few months they start cutting hours 40 turns into 35. 35 turns into 20. 20 turns into 10 or 5. They kill their morale, run off the glue and talent they hired on. And leave their department managers left to fill in all the holes they created which is unrealistic. Then the highest paid person in the department ends up working 60 hours a week in an attempt to keep their department from falling apart due to half the hours being sliced. Then they blame the managers for A. Working too many hours and B. For the problems and lack of consistency in their department when everything was to their standard before they butchered peoples livelihoods. Albertsons will also cut these hours through ALL departments , even the departments whos labor is well below projections. Their logic is the stores labor is too high and instead of focusing cuts in the departments whos labor is high they cut across all departments. So if for example, the meat department and bakery department have 20% or less labor on average, but stupid starbucks has 75-100% labor costs, they ruin the parts of the store that matter to carry crap no one cares about. This kills the customer experience and the exact reason I drive an hour to shop at HEB when im 10 minutes from Albertsons. This company will always be third string with the leadership the corporate office exhibits. Happy employees make happy customers.

There is no option to cancel your order to be delivered the next day. Ie. I made an order. Woke up super early and noticed the sale prices were no longer active and my order was twice as much money. I tried to cancel but no cancel order option and chat support is not available over night. This is frustrating because the app says my order is being assembled when it’s not because they are closed!

Via a frustrating call, a customer service "supervisor" confirmed a mind-boggling reality: "...there is NO WAY to add an item* on our website to "LIST" in your Albertsons App - UNLESS it has a coupon associated with it" -- IMO, an irrational & counter-productive bit of [failed] programming by a mature, established grocery chain, -- Looks like it's back to 60's shopping technology for me: a slip of paper and a pen! ARGGGH! -- Or I could just do my grocery shopping somewhere else - preferably with actual consumer-friendly tech. _____________________________________ * Item IS available at Albertsons - per their website - and even "on sale" ... but, alas, no coupon - so no possibility of adding it to my [shopping] LIST in App.

Just a suggestion for Albertsons' management: Would it be possible when hiring a new employee to do a 15 minute training session on how to bag groceries. I am tired of my bread being smashed & my eggs broken in the carton because they are placed in my bag first. I honestly think this should be common sense but not everyone has common sense & some people need to be taken by their hand & shown. Also; uniform shirts would be nice. Ironed/pressed (no wrinkles) clean shirts. Appearance matters! Take pride in yourselves & represent Albertsons as your employer. Maybe a training on appearance?

Continually have to go around the employees at the back of the store talking about company business or other employees, while frozen goods sit in the middle of the aisle all day (boxes were warm to the touch) and later find that the very same items were frost bit when finally placed in the freezer. Staff (except for cashiers) seem put out if you need something and they are either all taking inventory of what is on the shelf or they are stocking shelves during the busy business hours., Taking my business to Walmart in Rock Springs WY

Why can’t we get sale price without having to use your app that we don’t know how to use. Seniors have a hard time doing a lot of things and a sale should be programmed in all registers so we all get sale price if we buy it. Help us so we what to shop there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your service is excellent, the only problem is that your on shelf prices are quite often not the same as your in register price! This happens quite often and is really an inconvenience to the customer! My wife and I shop here several times a week and have noticed this happening more and more! PLEASE NOTE! 🙏🏻
