AIFS AbroadReviews of aifsabroad.com

I had an amazing time studying abroad in Germany. I made some friendships that will last a lifetime. It was the best semester ever! This experience allowed me to travel all over Europe and see places that I never thought I would see. I would recommend studying abroad to anyone who has the chance.

Easily the best experience of my life. I was so nervous before but now i have absolutely 0 regrets and i tell everyone i know to go abroad!!! AIFS was the best decision because of how helpful the staff was and all the plans that they made for us— it made everything so easy. I met amazing friends there i will never forget from all across America!!

My time while abroad was the happiest time of my life! I had the opportunity to see so much of the world and become friends with some of the greatest people I could ever imagine. Whenever I had a question or concern (which was plenty) I was easily able to contact AIFS and get the answer I needed! I never felt unsafe or lost with the program, they always went above and beyond with helping out. I'm lucky enough to even say I became good friends with program members.

My study abroad semester in Florence, Italy was by far my favorite semester in my college career. I hope to only continue to expand my knowledge of the world and continue to step out of my comfort zone so I may grow as an individual and have a greater impact on the world. I greatly appreciate the experience the AIFS program was able to help me achieve. I am excited to help other students get involved in the program so they may share a similar experience.

AIFS made my study abroad experience memorable and even more helpful in three ways. With the help of AIFS, I was able to attend a University in Florence that I received core college credits for with a great dean, professors and students. A big perk of AIFS that some of my friends studying in other programs in Florence didn't have, was the AMAZING meal plan. The meal plan allowed myself and my roommates to go out and try different restaurants and get grocery cards to a grocery store provided by AIFS. The grocery cards were helpful during the week if I didn't feel like going out to eat, and the meal cards to restaurants were great to go out and try new places with different cuisine types. Lastly, I was able to live in a beautiful apartment right near the Ponte Vecchio with girls that I have grown so close to and still keep in contact with everyday. I would highly recommend the AIFS study abroad program to anyone looking to study abroad a safe and efficient way to benefit a lifetime experience.

My experience through AIFS had its ups and downs. I studied in Stellenbosch, South Africa, with Hestea as our AIFS director. She is an amazing woman, and AIFS could not have done a better job choosing her! Erin Craw, the woman who we were supposed to contact about financial things - was extremely difficult. She had never been to Stellenbosch and barely knew anything. Many students struggled with her. The website could have included photos of our housing to better prepare us for the trip as well.

This program was absolutely amazing. Whenever I would come across a situation or a concern that may happen to me, AIFS had it all figured out. The logistics and the way the program is set up is flawless and there are so many people who are there to help you and make sure you have all your questions answered and you feel prepared to head abroad. I couldn't have picked a better program and everyone at AIFS was so great and helpful and it made going abroad so much easier knowing I had people to turn to if I ever ran into any issues.

The application process was made very simple and easy AIFS made sure I had everything I needed and helped me keep up with deadlines. Upon arrival in Barcelona, Spain the AIFS staff kept us updated on what was going on in the city and gave tips on living in a different country by email throughout the semester. The staff was always was willing to help with anything we needed. AIFS offered many cultural activities and excursions to take advantage of during your stay.I would recommend to any student planning on studying abroad to go through this company. If I could go again I would 100% go though AIFS!
