I appreciated all the work AIFS did. They made my study abroad experience possible. They also made it easier to do a lot of the paperwork such as transferring grades, obtaining travel papers, and more. I really enjoyed my time in the program. The reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars was because there were some issues with the university I studied at (classes were full before study abroad students were allowed to sign up, dorms were not very high quality, professors leaving partway through the semester ect.)

I absolutely loved going abroad with AIFS to Wellington. The advisors (Phia and Alex) were great and always had information for me when I needed it. Phia, especially, was amazing with her weekly event emails and the ability to contact her 24/7. Our excursions were always interesting and felt worth the money. I loved our weekend in Rotorua and the extreme sport activities we did. I'd recommend AIFS to anyone who was interested-- whether it be going to Wellington or not.

AIFS provided a truly wonderful study abroad experience. Housing in a great location, dining plans, group trip excursions, and other fun events. The best semester of my life and well worth the price!

The AIFS staff abroad (I studied in Barcelona, Spain) were always MORE than willing to help. With the staff being so friendly it really made me feel safe and comforted.

I had a great experience, AIFS helped us out with housing, meals, and trips so we were fully able to experience Limerick and many other corners of Ireland. On top of that, I felt trusted to make my own plans with the security of knowing my program directors were happy to help me should anything come up.

I am so glad that I was able to be with AIFS and Richmond, the American International University in London. I started with 6 months in London the decided to stay for an additional year! The staff was amazing and helpful for all three semesters I attended. With several day trips included and ones that are offered for an additional price, AIFS provided a safe and wonderful experience for people that were new to Europe. If you aren't new, and would like to gain a different perspective, these excursions are also for you. Thank you for a great experience!

I made lifelong friends on this program and had the time of my life, but I think for the amount of money you are spending, AIFS could have included some more excursions or higher quality transportation/ meals on the excursion. I think AIFS did a good job in general but was comparable to the other exchange programs hosting students in Buenos Aires. The staff was great although was sometimes hesitant to make accommodations unless pressed.

AIFS was the best part of my study abroad experience. All of the different events we had were fun and a great way to get used to the city. I was very reassuring to have someone living nearby who could help us out with any problems we had plus our housing was way better then people that enrolled in FU BEST (Berlin) other ways. The issue was that it was not communicated to us at all about FU BEST's policies. Which if I had known I would have chose a different program. We were forced to attend FU BEST events or fail out. These were always extremely poorly organized and involved at least an hour of waiting around. My advice would be to do your research into the actual overseas program because I would have never enrolled in FU BEST if I had known what I know but AIFS was the only thing that saved my study abroad.In the end it was clear that the people who ran AIFS actually cared about your experience while the school did not.
