AIFS AbroadReviews of aifsabroad.com

Studying abroad with AIFS was the best decision I ever made in life. Crazy part is that I am not even kidding! It was an amazing opportunity and I for sure would do it again. I was able to visit 5 different countries in one semester. Another thing that made this experience so good was that AIFS staff was always there for me, consequently, there was not any time that I did not feel safe. Reccomend it 100%!!!!

Very well organized, and the staff was very nice and helpful. Homestay was a little weird only because she spoke zero english. Class from 9am-2pm everyday was kind of exhausting but professors were overall good and nice.

My experience with AIFS Study Abroad in the Galapagos was beyond anything I could have imagined. I learned so much inside and outside of the classroom. The staff on the trip were very great at making me feel safe while abroad and in a new place that is out of my comfort zone in more ways than one.

It was a great experience. There were no surprises. There were many great opportunities to fully experience Rome and the places visited. I enjoyed all the different opportunities the students could sign up for. None of them were too expensive, so I was able to do many.

I had an amazing study abroad experience with AIFS in Dublin for January term. It was a wonderful class and had great professors. All the staff was very helpful especially during the application process. I highly recommend this program, its not just for english majors it is for anyone who wants to study abroad and learn from an amazing university.

I had the time of my life in Germany, and I'm already planning to go back. The apartments were really nice, especially the single rooms. I liked the amount of freedom given to discover Berlin on my own without needing supervision 24/7.

The Aifs experience was amazing and I would do it all over again if I could a little differently. I wish I knew before going into the program that the people you live with will most likely be the people you spend the most time with and make travel plans with. I chose the student hotel without realizing that I was limiting my friends from the start. All the girls that lived in the apartments got to spend a lot more time together, cook dinner together and go on trips because they were able to make plans easier and it was convenient. A lot of girls I lived with wanted to save money and not travel and I ended up going everywhere with only one person rather than a group. It was still a lot of fun but my options were limited. Otherwise I wish everyone was closer rather than a metro or long walk away. I had surgery on my spine three weeks before going abroad and I did not expect so much walking, which was my own problem because I refused to stay home after surgery. But the school is not that close so it was sort of an inconvenience. I wish the program told students to meet up at certain bars throughout the week to meet other students, there were a lot of options. So it was hard finding kids in your own program when everyone spreads out. So a program based after school drinking time or something would be cool.

Studying through AIFS was a great experience! I felt totally comfortable and prepared going into it. They helped answer any questions I had. I met many cool people and saw many different places. It was definitely worth it!
