John was very engaging which kept us focused. He reiterated his points in various ways, making it easy to comprehend. I enjoyed using the Miro board to share thoughts so we all had a voice and then could move on to the next topic. His real world examples made it easy to understand the topics and relate to our own situations.

John applies SCRUM and AGILE principles in a manner that is easily understood. He makes complex topics clear and does so while being engaging with the class. I wasn't fully sure what scrum/agile even meant until taking John's class. After the first session it finally clicked for me how these philosophies can be applied in not only the workplace, but also in life. Highly recommend John to all who are interested in learning about these principles!

John's personality and way of teaching was perfect! He made it fun and applied it to real-life scenarios, not just work things. I honestly dreaded having to take a class prior to the test, but I am extremely glad I did! I intend to take the CSM certification to the next level because I enjoyed it so much.

Expected a workshop to be boring to sit through 4 hours daily. But, John, did a great job to keep us engaged and fun.
