Hello Teresa, Regarding your concern, please kindly understand that there is a brown scratch-resistant film on the glossy side of our photo ornaments. Please kindly note that this film is a little difficult to remove so we highly recommend that you use your fingernail or a utility knife to carefully remove it. Rest assured that after removing the aforementioned film, the products will be as clear as the Preview you saw online. Warm regards, Eleanor Calder From A Gift Customized
