I sold a domain for $4500 and transferred it. However I am unable to enter my bank details to get paid. When I try to enter my bank details in the payment area in my account settings, I keep getting a server error. I’ve tried for the past 4 days, same error. I also used different browsers, same error. I have contacted support via the “contact us” form, as well as using the “contact a TA Agent” message function during the transfer process, and also sent them an email at service@[...] but have not received a single reply in 4 days from any of the channels. Not even an automated email saying they have received my email. As this is my first transaction this has me worried and I’m starting to doubt the legitimacy. If anyone of Afternice support reads this, please contact me asap.

My domain was sold on the 6th Sep and it's been almost a month since they didn't pay. sent them several emails and got the same response that its being processed. they are charging enormous commissions from us and yet the service is so bad.

Today is September 13 and no representative contact me, very bad service, really choos another option this afternic is scam, and tief. a i have proof.

Afternic allow sellers to list domains they do not own. Do not buy any domains from the user shubhambajoria11. This person is trying to scam people by selling domains they don't own.

Literally, Afternic or GoDaddy owns the domain I want to buy, but because it has a strong positioning in the market they want me to pay $5,000+ under the guise that an individual owns it and wouldn't accept a reasonable amount. Further, both the sales rep and the instant pricing rep sold me the same story because when I called, they could identify my phone number that I called in on as interested in the domain. Unethic business.

Off course when you sell the domain, they will transfer it to the buyer and after transfer they will cancel your payment. So you will loss both your domain and payment. Pathetic Service.

Afternic stole my domain, but did not return it after handing it over to them. No one will trade through afternic.

Our company sold a domain on Afternic over 2 months ago. After a couple of weeks, Afternic asked for a copy of the company managers passport. Why does Afternic need a copy of the seller's passport?! To steal their identity?! American company/American owners. They're refusing to cancel the transaction and are basically keeping the money ($1000) for themselves. They are basically stealing the domain. After HOURS wasted talking to their supervisors, they're not willing to return the domain back nor issue payment. Thiefs! Avoid them. 6/6/2022: Updated Response to Afternic: This was a transaction by a business, not an individual. You can't require a business owner to give you a copy of their personal passport for a business transaction. All the business information and certificates were provided to you. Afternic is not a bank nor a financial institution to require a copy of a passport. Uploading of a copy of a passport online to Afternic's website can lead to identity theft. We have offered to provide other methods of verifications, but Afternic will only accept a passport. Even banks/financial institutions will accept other forms of ID. We have asked Afternic to return the domain back to us, but they're refusing to do so. So they took the domain and won't pay for it either. Complete SCAM!
