Can't stop buying these beautiful dresses. I have eight. They fit and drape perfectly, and the patterns are superb. Customer Service is exceptional.

I love the personalized emails that keep me abrest of all the happenings as my order is prepared and sent. Im also grateful for the insights and sales only for those that are already customers. Finally, I love the clothing quality, the colors, the patterns, the pockets! Ive become addicted to Afropenda. (I have 13 dress, 3 pr of leggings, and I want at least 2 Christmas dresses!!!)

I love these dresses!! The ordering is easy and “Lena” keeps you updated throughout. I had two problems: one dress with missed stitching was immediately replaced but changing sizes requires a fee higher than the t-shirts cost me. Dresses seem true to size but the t-shirts I ordered in the same size as my dresses were huge on me- long as a dress! I really wondered what “milk silk” would be like. It is polyester. I am fine with that. I did get a dress in cotton and it is high quality cotton but needs ironing. The milk silk polyester washes and dries like a dream. I have never seen colors and patterns as beautiful as these. And I am very happy to be supporting a black (women?) owned business.

I ordered during a sale and for $110 I got three dresses, so about $37 apiece. The style was NOT as depicted in their ads. "Corset" dresses should fit through the bust and torso, but what I got was empire waisted dresses that did NOT flatter my busty self. On top of that, the pattern was not matched at the seams and looked wonky. I contacted them and was offered option to send the dress/es back at my own expense, or buy a replacement for $18. The shipping would be about the same as another dress so I opted for a different style. Slightly better, but as some have noted, the "milk silk" is basically inexpensive printed polyester fabric, and guess what - the dress came from China! Something a bit sketchy about this company. Not planning to buy from them again, and the dresses have made their way to Goodwill.

The dresses are comfortable and flattering. Delivery was good and the dresses were cut specifically for me! So comfortable and the pockets make the dress!!

Clothing is from China. Sizes were all wrong. Ordered 2 dresses in the same size and one was half the size of the other. The "milk silk" is actually polyester. The fabric is cheap. The dresses are not well made. I asked for a refund was only offered store credit. Do not order from here
