Lack of information and conflicting expiration dates
We got the renew kit for our AED machine. There were no instructions about how to install the batteries in the specific order they are to go in the machine. The other issue is that we bought the refit kit and the expiration dates don’t match. We will have to get the pediatric pad next year, and the adult pads are good till 2024.

Hi Charles, thank you for your feedback, we are always looking to improve the experience we provide for our customers. The pads and batteries that each AED manufacturer provides range in expiration lengths for example adult pads may have a longer expiration cycle than pediatric pads. To smoothly manage this and other responsibilities associated with AEDs, we recommend LifeShield, our AED compliance management tool. It lets you log monthly AED checks, stay up to date with the most recent AED laws and regulations in your area, sends you reminders for battery and pad expirations and more. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if we can be of further assistance to you.
